We want your stay to feel like you stayed somewhere special so here is what we did. Post lamps and cobblestone brickwork mark each side of the driveway as you drive up to the entry gate, looking straight ahead is an old streetlight we refurbished to tie everything together. Type in your code and gain access to the private concrete parking in the rear of two 30's era two story homes. Walk around to the front door and you will notice the plants hanging from the the second story veranda among other places. You don't need a key, type in the key-code again and unlock the door. The monitored security alarm is there for your peace of mind while you are staying. If you noticed the video cameras as you were walking by them, they just sent me an email letting me know you have arrived. This suite is around 1000 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, townhouse style. It has been completely remodeled throughout, maintaining the charm of its era including that veranda you noticed stretching across the entire front of the house. You will see the hardwood floors and the staircase leading up. As you ascend, it will begin opening up into the living area giving you that feeling of being in a loft apartment. The windows are tall, covered by 2" blinds for you privacy, and surrounded by mahogany stained trim. The living room is small, but laid out well. There is a comfy leather sleeper sofa and recliner, a wall mounted 55" flat screen TV (w/Cable & Netflix) and a desk in the corner with some information for you. For your computer gadgets, there is Wi-Fi or you can plug in right at the desk. The Master Bedroom has the pizzazz with a tray ceiling, ornate fixture and marble fireplace and it's still big enough for king sized bed. The second bedroom is large as well and has its own charm with a queen size bed, lots of drawer space and some extra storage space for the empty luggage. The king bed is soft and the queen is firm to accommodate different preferences. The bathroom is custom tile with a curved tub for some extra room and plenty of linens. It has all the appliances you would find at home – side by side refrigerator w/ice-maker, gas range, over the range microwave, dishwasher, a washer/dryer combo, coffee maker, a cappuccino machine and even a panini grill.
If you would rather be outdoors, you could sit on the veranda, turn on the ceiling fan, enjoy the fresh air while sipping your favorite beverage. In the back there is another sitting area under the canopy of the tall trees where you can do some grilling on the big 5-burner gas grill and be sure to take note of the butterfly garden we just started.
We also keep a few people handy for those unforeseen issues you might encounter, they are just a few blocks away to keep your stay as pleasant as possible.

It was once an office, bought the building next door as well. The buildings were rentals since I moved the office. Over the years I decided on remodling the buildings. As we began remodeling it morphed into a complex with 4 apartments and a concrete parking lot.
We had a lovely time and will definitely have this location on the top of my list if we return to Hot Springs!
The house is perfect! Warm and inviting and met all our needs for a girls getaway weekend. The location is close to all the main attractions in Hot Springs. I'd definitely recomend to others.
We had a girls weekend in Hot Springs planned. Instead of a hotel, we booked this rental on Parallel. It has a security system, gated parking and several outdoor security cameras. We stayed in the upper unit. Overall it was clean and fairly comfortable. One bed is on the firm side, the other soft. There has obviously been a bit of work done to this older home. Security lights and neighborhood noise contributed to a less than peaceful sleep the first night. Slept better the next night. It is not an area that I would choose to live full time without a security system. But the price and the general amenities cause me to recommend this property.
Great place to stay! Nolen was extremely helpful during our stay. Neighborhood was quiet and the gated parking was awesome. Clean place and very nicely kept. Already making plans for next year. Just like home! Not within walking distance of Central Ave Bathhouse row but is a VERY short drive. Having the Family Dollar basically round back was helpful for these weary riders getting in late. Thanks again couldn't be more pleased with our stay.
This apartment is so charming!! Four women with one bathroom was a concern when I booked it but there was a number of mirrors which was perfect. The mirrors also function in an adorable design scheme. Everything is nicely decorated and very functional except the round table in the kitchen. While it adds a functional dining space, it is pretty overwhelming in size and would have been a pain to cook around. Just a suggestion, a smaller expandable bistro like table would be perfect. The kitchen was nicely equipped but we never used it. The proximity to downtown was great but I wouldn't say it's walking distance for the average person. The beds were adequately comfortable. Everything you could want or need is in this apartment. I think four adults is the magic number. It was spacious with that occupancy but any more would have just been comfortable. Being an older house I was worried about the old house smell and this one doesn't have it! The only issue I had was there was no rear entrance for access from the parking lot. It wasn't a huge issue for us but I could see that being an issue for some. Also this apartment is by far the best house on the street. That being said I felt completely safe the entire trip. There are numerous safety features to make you feel same such as an alarm, gated parking, cameras and apartment b is on the second floor and I never saw a person outside the house while we were there. I feel as though neighborhood is safe but over the years the other houses were not as well taking care of as this building. I however would not leave my vehicle parked on the street overnight.
We arrived this afternoon. The property is on a quiet street. It looks very nice from the outside. Upon entering we found it to be very nicely restored. It is clean and has many extra amenities. Very nicely decorated. Parking in rear is accessible with remote control for electrically operated security gate. We are extremely happy with our choice for lodging in Hot Springs. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again
Nolan was great. We arrived ahead of schedule by an hour and he had everything prepared for us. If you are looking for s quite location this is it. We slept like a log. The apartment was like living at home, clean and everything in its place. would definitely do this again. Oh and the kids went crazy over having WiFi and netflix. Our previous stop did not have it. WiFi is a big plus.
The Park Avenue Historical district is just 3 minutes to Downtown Hot Springs National Park & Bath House Row with Shopping, Live Theater, Magic Shows, Wax Museum, & Fine Dining. A revitalization of the area is already underway. Just two blocks away a new city park is being constructed, as is beautification of the main intersection leading to the property with new green areas, bus stop, and flower gardens. A short drive will get you to Oaklawn Racetrack/Casino, Magic Springs-Crystal Falls Amusement/Water-park, Superwinch RV Park, Mid America Science Museum, Arkansas Alligator Farm. A little farther, you could visit Garvin Gardens botanical gardens, Adventureworks Zip Line tours, or one of our three beautiful lakes that surround Hot Springs with marina's, boating, watersports, parasailing and more. Whatever it is you are looking for you can find it.
