Beautiful home on pilings overlooking a clear swimming canal with direct ocean access and easy bay access via Tavernier Creek. This is our primary residence that we rent out during the summer months while we travel with our children. We rent out the main house which is upstairs. It is a 3 bedroom/2 bath. There is an apartment underneath the house that we plan to keep for ourselves as a place to come back to briefly between trips. We would consider renting both upstairs and downstairs if interested.
The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an organic queen-size bed, it's own bathroom with separate tub, shower and vanity. The second and third bedrooms have twin beds with pull-out trundles under each bed. The hall bath is spacious with a shower/bathtub combo. The laundry is also located in the hallway bathroom and features a front-loading washer & dryer. The living & kitchen areas are open with vaulted ceilings. There is a pull-out sofa sleeper to sleep two more people if needed. Extra bed linens are found in the storage coffee table. All of the living room furniture is slip-covered for easy washing. The kitchen is modern with granite countertops. It is fully stocked with dishes and cookware. There is a breakfast bar that seats four. There is also a dining table on the screened in porch that seats eight overlooking the canal.
This home is located on a beautiful, clear deep-water canal. It has lots of tropical fish, lobster and occasionally a manatee or two! Guests may bring their boat and leave dockside during their stay. There is room for a 25 foot boat. There is also room in the driveway (fenced) to park your vehicle and trailer. There is additional parking street-side. There is an outdoor shower, sink, fish-cleaning station and dining table dockside that also seats eight guests. Guests have use of two kayaks (red & green), a red paddleboard, a metal canoe, rock-climbing wall, hammock, Charcoal BBQ grill, and floats.
There are tons of great restaurants with amazing water views nearby. You will also be walking distance to fishing and diving charters, jet ski rentals, boats, paddle boards and kayaks.
We are located about an hour 15 minutes from Miami International Airport and about 2 hours from Key West, right off of Overseas Hwy, one of the most beautiful drives in the United States.
My husband and I moved to Islamorada three years ago after he finished 18 years with the Navy. He is now an airline pilot. I am primarily a stay-at-home mom (we have two daughters), however, I have 11 years of experience in property management. I teach yoga on the beach and I love photography. This home is our full-time residence, the house is on pilings with a studio apartment underneath. We rent out the upstairs while our kids are on breaks from school. During the summer months, we plan to travel a lot with our children, so we will keep the apartment for ourselves as a place to stay between our trips. So you may or may not see us around! We would consider renting the entire property, just ask! :)

The perfect location!!! We are located right at Tavernier Creek with instant ocean access and super fast bay access via Tavernier Creek. We love being on the water! There is an amazing breakfast & lunch place, Made to Order, that we love to canoe & kayak to. There are also lots of mangrove trails to explore by water. There are tons of exceptional restaurants just a short drive away with absolutely breathtaking views! The beautiful reefs of the Florida Keys are just 3 miles away! Snorkel, dive & fishing charters are nearby.
Dock space available to keep your boat (up to 25 feet) right at the house.
Available for guest use: Canoe, 2 Kayaks, Paddleboard, Rock Climbing Wall, Hammock, Fire Pit, BBQ Grill, Beach Chairs & Floats.
There is also places within walking distance to rent jet skis, paddle boards & kayaks. There is also a dive center and deep sea fishing charters nearby.
Great Home everything was fresh and inviting; easily accommodates 4 adults and a very suitable place to kick back. Situated in a perfect location for a Keys visit and the owners were very friendly and easily accessible if needed. Look forward to another visit!

Beautiful family home, perfect location to BOTH ocean, and gulf. Close to restaurants, marinas, and sandbars. Easy to rent boat if necessary, beautiful reefs to snorkel. Wonderful for family of all ages with fishing, swimming, kayaking.

The home was beautiful and very clean. We are a family of four and invited two extra teens. We were all very comfortable. We brought our 20 ft boat and there was plenty of dock space as well as room on the property for our trailer. The dock is big enough for a larger boat as well. We used the kayaks too! The location is perfect for boating on bayside or oceanside since it's right off of Tavernier Creek. We would definitely return and recommend to others vacationing in the Keys.
The home is perfect for a Keys getaway. Location is great to get to ocean or gulf side, with bait shop and boat gas station right around the corner. Home is nicely decorated, with large porch and dock area. We had great weather, and got to snorkel and dive the nearby reefs, just minutes away. We recommend this property for families.
We stayed at this house for 3 nights and did not want to leave. It is a great location near many great restaurants and Islamorada attractions but just quiet enough to be peaceful and relaxing. We give this house two thumbs way up!
