Great views! Quiet and so calming!
The home is well stocked with all daily amenities you could need. The owners are great quick to contact back when you need anything! We loved it (there were 4 of us) great for families!
Relaxing cabin on peaceful Little Bear Lake
Really enjoyed our stay here at Han’s place on Little Bear Lake. The cabin is cute and had everything we needed. Kids loved fishing off of the dock. The lake is so clean and great for kayaking and paddle boating. Both of which Hans had available for use. Loved being able to run the 3 mile loop around the lake with my dog too. Not too many places allow dogs so I really appreciate owners who understand how great it is to have our furry friends with us on vacation. We took a day trip to Makinac Island. The ferry is less than an hour drive from the cabin and well worth it. Makinac is also very dog friendly! We ate lunch at The Tea Room with the dog too. Overall great, relaxing getaway for the family.
Clean, Cozy, and Lovely Cottage
We had a wonderful time at Little Bear Beach Cottage. We stayed a week with our three children, and we all loved every minute. When we arrived the cottage was very clean. There were plenty of extra towels, blankets, and bed linens, which was super helpful with children! There were also plenty of box fans provided, which helped with airflow on the second floor. My kids enjoyed looking through the games and books there. The shed down by the lake was also convenient. We could store our children's beach toys there, so we didn't have to take them up and down the steps everyday. We loved using the kayaks. This lake is very serene and peaceful. During our week, there was not a lot of boat traffic, and when there was, everyone was respectful of people swimming and/or fishing off docks. It was a terrific place for relaxing and enjoying time together as a family. This is truly a lovely cottage!
Some helpful suggestions: make sure to bring a couple hand soap pumps, paper towel/napkins, toilet paper, and tissues. These things were all there when we arrived. However, we needed to replace some during the week to ensure that the next renters would have some as well.
Great little place!
Had a great time
Great fall retreat
First time renting during the fall season and enjoyed our weekend even through the rain. The cabin had a lot to keep us busy: games, cards, fishing boat, and kayaks. Appreciated access to all of it. Enjoyed our morning coffee while reading books, relaxing , and taking in the view to the lake below.
Beautiful Michigan Getaway
This is a beautiful and quiet place to get away from the rat race and just relax. The cottage is well maintained, clean and welcoming. LBBC has everything needed for a long weekend or extended stay. Kayaking the lake was very nice and it's an easy lake to paddle. A three day weekend just wasn't enough so a future stay is highly likely. Thanks Hans for sharing LBBC.
