Gerry's rental property is a Slice of Paradise. Located at the end of a street with a number of mixed use properties is a thoughtfully designed planned unit development of Key West style town homes, with a brick street leading to all of the units..
The three story unit is spacious and well and tastefully appointed with screened decks. Evening cocktails overlooking a small estuary under a beautiful orchid tree was the norm. Morning coffee off the kitchen was also a pleasant start to the day.
The unit is within easy walking distance to a lovely village or for those that chose to ride a trolley at no cost. Stuart has a number of good restaurants and shops along with a board walk along the river.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending this property as a fine quality rental.
We have been staying at rental properties throughout Florida for many years. This is by far the nicest home yet! It was so nice to drive into the garage and walk into a clean, well stocked home that is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is far better than the one I have at home....a concern for my husband as he is now worried I will be pushing for upgrades! There is an elevator so we brought our luggage and groceries right up to the kitchen and bedroom areas. I felt like I was back in the big city, with the small town feel.
Stuart is a fantastic town. there was something fun and exciting going on every weekend, art fests, riverwalk concerts, museums, great restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops and all within a few minutes walk. We recommend Terra Fermata for music, Osceola Cafe for Sunday brunch and Luna for pizza.
One night we were feeling tired so we hopped on the trolley that Stuart has and got a ride to and from the restaurant...and it was free!
My husband likes to fish so he was thrilled to walk out the back door onto the dock and catch the local fish. Next time he wants to rent a little boat so he can keep it at the dock and explore the area by water.
The bedroom was perfect with a giant comfortable bed. We loved having tea on the balcony and reading our papers. The kitchen is spotless and really nice with plenty of granite and an enormous island for cooking. We had friends visit one evening and ended up standing around the island sipping wine and chatting.
Jerry was a pleasure to work with and we are looking forward to a return visit next season. Can not wait!
