Gorgeous home nestled in the woods

  • 5 of 5

Stunning, beautiful, great location with wonderful view. Gorgeous secluded home with posh amenities.

Well worth the money. The owner went out of her way to accommodate our very late arrival and make everything comfortable. Great base from which to explore the surrounding areas, from Seward to Talkeepna. We couldn't have been happier staying at this home.

Hilltop Oasis

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here very comfortably for six days. For five adults this house was very spacious with plenty of sitting areas; both outdoor and inside.

We barbequed every night, and enjoyed the great views. The highlight of our trip was a mother moose with her twin babes that came to spend

the evening with us. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Beautiful Home.

  • 5 of 5

This is such a lovely house in the woods. Vicki recommended going to Flat Rock Mountain which turned out to be one of our favorite hikes. Only one of us made it to the top, but the views were worth the hike. This is a great place to stay in Anchorage.

Alaska visit for a wedding

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family enjoyed our stay very much. The property worked well and was a great location. During our week we were able to make several side trips and the proximity to downtown Anchorage was quick. Hoping for a return trip and would definitely book again.

Adult family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our family of seven adults traveled to Alaska for a memorable family vacation to enjoy the wonders of the 49th state. I have rented several VROB homes in Wisconsin & North Carolina in the past and found them to be a very good experience. This property was one of the best I have ever rented. It was well maintained, clean and furnished very nicely. Furthermore, it was located in the city of Anchorage but, you felt you were in the middle of a natural park setting.

The owners were very nice and made it clear they were available to see we had a memorable experience. We used the home as our base and found travel in all directions very easy to take in the sights. As a family we discussed and all agreed that we would do this trip again and our base would be this VRBO.

I highly recommend Patty's Cafe for breakfast and Humpy's is a must for dinner. As for activities we really enjoyed our fly in fishing trip we took with Rusty's Flying Service and our day of 4 wheeling with 49th State Motor Tours both were just wonderful.
