Guestbook comments from the manager

Thank you both for a wonderful stay at Ard Craig Cottage. We found your property to be of the highest possible standards, the cottage is decorated and furnished to a first class standard, the cottage was absolutely immaculate and we noted you have had the property fully renovated and re furnished since our last visit in 2007, its beautiful, the plasma Tvs in the Sitting room and bed room are simply wonderful and the Sky Tv and Wifi are also excellent facilites to have. We will be back in the near future and hope to stay at one of your fab properties.

Excellent

A beautiful cottage in an amazing area. We loved staying there, everything we needed to. Another mirror would help as the only one was a small one in the bathroom. I would recommend this cottage to anyone. Everything was immaculate in the cottage beautiful decor and all modern accessories. A credit to the owners.

Wonderful

  • 5 of 5

Cottage was lovely. Location perfect. The property was very clean on arrival and well maintained. A problem we had was with the mirror in the bathroom where the ceiling sloops, my husband is over 6ft tall and found it difficult to use the mirror when shaving. The bedroom could have done with a mirror maybe a free standing one on the dressing unit. I would highly recommend the cottage to family and friends. Would need to have a car as you have to travel everywhere. Places to see Oban Fort William and surrounding areas.

If you want to go the Jacobite train book well in advance to avoid disappointment. The best place to eat is the Loch Leven Hotel. But if you want walking distance the pub in the village is OK. Also the chippy is very good.

Very well equipped cottage for two.

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was spotless, equipped to a high standard and very comfortable for the two of us. Whilst we knew you couldn't see Loch Leven from the cottage, a short stroll takes you to the lochside with excellent views - we experienced some lovely sunsets. It was the first time we had visited Glencoe and we found the owner's father, who lived next door, to be very helpful and informative. We were fortunate to have good weather; highlights included boat trips on Loch Shiel (from Glenfinnan) and Loch Linnhe (from Fort WIlliam) and photographing the local landscape.

Perfect cottage for a couple

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in this cottage a couple of times before. It is a perfect retreat for two in the heart of the Highlands!

Well kept and decorated with love and great eye for detail.

Location is perfect for exploring the area.

The owners can't be more helpfull

We recommend: the Jacobite steamtrain, Nevis Gondola, Glenfinnan monument, War Memorial Spean Bridge, one of the many lovely loch cruises.

Eat and drink: the laroch restaurant, crafts & arts cafe, holy tree, kinlochleven seafood restaurant

Highly recommended

Wonderful cottages in a beautiful setting

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at the Glencoe Highland Cottages. This is the third time we have stayed at one of the beautiful cottages and everytime we enjoy our stay very much. The cottages are very well equipped and of the highest quality. The cottages are situated next to loch leven and are very quiet. The surroundings and views are exceptional.

Mairi and Tony always give us a very warm welcome and make our stay worthwile. We will come back again soon. Highly recommended!!!

Fully equipped with everything you need, top notch furnishings and equipment and immaculately clean.

We have stayed here twice and also the new cottage next door Kinloch Lodge, all Tony & Mairi's cottages are something special, you will not be disappointed.
