Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
My family went to Panama City Beach a few days before Christmas. The weather was lovely and we had a wonderful view of the beach and ocean from our balcony. We had plenty of room for all four of us. Enjoyed our stay and our furry kid did too!!! Will definitely go back!!!!
Wonderful! Love everything. The view is incredible and the beach is so close. The three bedrooms gave us plenty of space to spread out. Loved the balcony...we spent A LOT of time out there. This area of Thomas Drive is superb. Quiet yet just minutes to shopping and dining. Everything went flawlessly from check in to check out!
Location is superb! This area off of Thomas Drive is so quiet yet just a few minutes from all the shopping and restaurants. Loved the view and spent A LOT of time on the balcony. Perfect vantage point for catching both sunrises and sunsets on the ocean. You are so close to the beach. So close! Loved the three bedrooms. Loved that the master opened up to the balcony. Was a wonderful Thanksgiving week for us...Lots of special memories with our kids. Everything went flawlessly from check in to check out. We didn't want to leave!
We knew from other reviews that this is an older unit, but in a quiet area of PCB. Which is what we wanted. We were right in between the busy, bustling areas but close to everything. The condo was clean and everything was in working order, just older. The mattresses were quite used and in need of replacement. But the access to the beach and the view more than compensated for the uncomfortable beds. The master bedroom bedspread has many pulls and picks, but is just for looks anyway, so we weren't bothered by it. We just took it off, folded it and put it to the side. So no issue there. There were marks from the blue chairs on the walls as well as marks from possible suitcases and/or the porters cart. Which was a shame as the area is wide enough for the cart. The carpet in the bedrooms was old but clean. But again, the view from the balcony and the short walk to the beach made up for everything else. The shades in the master bedroom are terrible. Several slates missing and several torn at the top. Had to be very careful with them. They let a lot of light in and the sun came right in the door to the master bed, so no sleeping late! The condo had nice, thick curtains in the living room so you could keep out the heat and the light if you wanted to. Those curtains would have been great to have in the master bedroom. The price of the unit was quite acceptable so we could overlook a lot of the issues mentioned by others. The one thing we could not overlook was how hot it was in the master bedroom. We were there in mid-November, so we could turn off the a/c and open the doors at night to keep cool. But during the day, if we came in to change, take a nap, etc. it was quiet hot. I hate to think of how hot it might get in the summer! That was the main issue we had. There was no use in contacting Vacasa as it is the way the condo was set up-- only one vent for a very large room with very large windows and sliding doors. We do plan to return to PCB next year, but will be looking for a different condo, but only because of the lack of a/c in the bedroom. I would recommend the property because of the beach access and the view. But would warn them about the mattresses and hot master bedroom. Some people like it warm, but not our family.
I would not stay here again. It was filthy. There was a book for visitors on the end table in the living room that was covered with ants. Floors and rugs were disgusting. All the kitchen utensils are useless and dirty. Keep looking!!!
