Gingers on the Hill has a spacious open plan layout with 2 lounge areas and 2 dining areas. Gather around the large kitchen island bench or cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen with every appliance you could need, including espresso coffee machine. We have provided basic cooking condiments to help you cook up a feast.
1st bedroom - a queen bed with full ensuite, including a jet spa.
2nd bedroom - queen bed
3rd - queen bed with a single bunk overhead; 4th - single bunk beds.
All the beds are super comfy with high quality mattresses. A double foldout sofa can accommodate additional sleepers.
Heaters and fans are located in each of the rooms.
The wood heater ensures the house is cosy and warm in winter while the split system air conditioner keeps the heat at bay in summer.
When not engaging in the many activities Warburton and the surrounding area offers,
you can relax inside in front of the fire, use our free WiFi or curl up on the couch watching NETFLIX on the large, flatscreen Smart TV or choose from the hundreds of movies on our USB. For those who like a bit of retro, you can even listen to some vinyl on our record player. There are loads of movies, board games and toys for children of all ages to enjoy.
The huge outdoor balcony with stunning mountain views runs the length of the house and is ideal for outdoor entertaining or having a quiet moment.
The large Webber gas bbq is perfect for entertaining while the native birds provide a lively and colourful backdrop. Both the Kookaburra’s and the parrots can be hand fed.
The front garden is a great space for kids to play or adults to relax in. An outdoor swing hangs from the huge pine tree and there are outdoor games for kids to enjoy. The backyard provides a more quiet and secluded space to chill in.
The house is well catered for babies and toddlers and has a high chair, portacot, change table, children’s table and chairs set and fireplace safety guard.
We have a secure lockable storage area for multiple bikes, complete with service stand and compressor. The house can be accessed from a steep concrete driveway (fine for prams) or by walking up some steps to the balcony.
The house is ideally located as it’s only a 7 minute walk to Warburton’s shops, cafes and restaurants and a 5 minute stroll to the beautiful and pristine Yarra River and the popular Yarra circuit walk.For those warmer months, the local swimming hole is only a short walk away.
Walk to eateries, shops and even the supermarket is only a lovely 10 minute stroll along the river.
You can Walk to the nearby golf club or pub for dinner, (Take a torch!) or Little Joe’s wood fired pizza is a short stroll away.

Interaction with Guests.....
Guests have full and private use of the property (a small garage area is locked).
Contact with guests will be via email prior to arrival for check in instructions and our caretaker lives in the street if there are any urgent issues.
Other things to note....There are tobbogins for guest use if heading to the snow.
The kitchen has basic condiments such as herbs, spices, oils etc to get you going in the kitchen.
Tea, coffee, milk, cereals and spreads will also be provided.
The kitchen has all the gadgets, blender, juicer, nutribullet, sandwhich grill, espresso machine.
There are some steps at the front of the property as well as to the backyard so this may be limiting for people with mobility issues. The house itself is all one one level without any steps internally. Guests can also access the house via the concrete driveway (quite steep) rather than use the stairs.
