About Sara Collins

We are a newly-wed couple who have spent the last year renovating this home from the studs to the finished product. We take great pride in the work we did so you can enjoy top of the line amenities in a home away from home. We have a sweet German Shepherd puppy, named Stella who loves other puppies. We frequent the nearby dog park and sometimes like to go play catch in the softball fields up the road. We're open minded, down to earth, and eager to please. We can't wait for you to see our home!

Why Sara Collins chose Paso Robles

We love Paso for the easy summer nights and many options for entertainment. We are minutes from many local vineyards and even a local hot spring. The neighborhood is great because you are minutes from downtown, but far enough away to have a quiet evening. We also loved the challenge of taking the house from a fixer-upper to the beautiful finished product it is today.

The second bed is located in the living room as a pull out sofa bed. The bed has a nice memory foam topper for added comfort and pulls out to a little smaller than a Queen size. There is a locking door on the living room, so that anyone using the bed can have some privacy.

Cozy space in a quiet neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

Very cozy little apartment with everything a couple or small family needs. Further east of old Paso than we were expecting, but it sure was a quiet neighborhood. We slept great! Very attentive and responsive owners.

All you need for a reasonable price

  • 5 of 5

This duplex has everything you need for a cozy, comfy stay in Paso Robles. It is very clean and the linens are super comfortable and smell good but not overpowering. The kitchen comes with just about everything you need, dishes, including plenty of wine glasses, bottle opener, tongs, spices, and olive oil for the outdoor BBQ. In speaking with the owners, we learned they constructed the walls with 9 layers of sheet rock in between for good sound insulation and we could not hear a single sound from the owners who live in the house connected to this unit. The finishings on the inside were done very well. The paint is a nice light sage color and the wall and window mouldings are done very well. I found the bed super comfortable. All counter tops are granite. There is a full door-wide sized closet with 5 hangers. Overall. it has a nice, relaxing feel inside. It is two small residential blocks from Sherwood dog park which was super convenient. My only comments are that the side yard is gated on only 3 sides but the owners state they hope to put a gate on the 4 side soon. Also, about 50% of the neighborhood has dead grass for their front lawn, including this location and it is an older neighborhood but it felt very safe. There was a new large table in the side yard areas with ample space for four place settings. We thought the BBQ was new because it was so clean but learned it was 3 years old...a testimate to how they keep up this unit. The complimentary wine was delicious. It is true that it is within short driving distances to many wineries and only an 8 minute drive to the heart of downtown Paso Robles. So if you are good with driving about 5- 15 minutes, you can get to many wonderful places in Paso Robles. It is a great town to enjoy the wineries, gorgeous rolling hills, and huge oak trees. The owners were very nice, quick to respond, and even refunded my refundable damage deposit early. We would stay here again.

Delightfully appointed, well thought out space!

  • 5 of 5

A friend & I were on a 2-night jaunt, looking for separate bedrooms---this place was perfect! Hide-a-bed in living room, plus queen bed in the bedroom with opening windows & ceiling fans in a quiet neighborhood. Nicely appointed efficiency kitchen was easy to cook in and cool bathroom arrangement gave us privacy.

Dylan & Sara were very welcoming & responsive---contacting quickly after completing the reservation, checking to make sure we had what we needed for our arrival & stay. They were even gracious enough to respond to our request for a recommendation for Sunday breakfast.

Easy to find, very clean and enjoyable. Would heartily recommend and would stay there again.

Perfect location to stay when visiting many of the best Paso Robles wineries. When we arrived there was a nice bottle of wine waiting for us which was perfect after a long car ride.

The perfect spot in Paso Robles for our winery weekend

  • 5 of 5

Even before we arrived our host was great with communication and I knew it would be a smooth rental experience. As soon as we walked inside we knew our stay would be comfortable as the unit was perfectly clean, warm and inviting. We had our Border Collie with us and it was so nice to take walks over to the local park with a dog run. The neighborhood was quiet, and safe to walk in even late at night. The winery where our friends were getting married at was only 7 min drive away and I highly recommend Scuplterra if you are in the area! We also visited Santa Margarita Lake for a couple hours which was a 45 min drive south. Downtown Paso Robles we were treated to the annual Art in the Park where we wandered for a bit and saw local artists and craftsmen. Such a fun weekend and though we didn't use the kitchen, it looked like it had everything one could need to cook up a quick meal.
