Quiet condo location... walk three minutes to magical Perkins Cove with shops, art galleries, and trolley service to Ogunquit Village.
The unit is a studio condo as described. Decor is dated, but unit is clean and has basic amenities. The location is the best feature, a 5 minute walk to Perkins Cove. You can park your vehicle and never have to fight for a spot. The downside is the sleeping experience. The Murphy bed is uncomfortable and the mattress needs to be replaced. The couch is equally uncomfortable for sleeping. TV and AC are adequate. Recliners w/ covers are old and look shabby. We probably will stay elsewhere next time.
We were favorably impressed with the condo we rented in Perkins Cove, Maine. It was immaculate and nicely decorated. Most important, the murphy bed was very comfortable. The area was charming -- plenty to do and great restaurants!! I would definitely recommend this vacation spot!
This was a very nice unit...we really had no need to cook anything although the option was there if wanted. The unit was very clean and if there were any issues, the owner would email you back within a very timely manner. The only negative is the internet was HORRIBLE...if you need to do any type of work, even responding to emails, this is NOT the place to stay.
My husband and I went away for a couple nights for his birthday. The condo was perfect for the 2 of us, so clean and adorably decorated. It was a quick walk to Perkin's Cove where we ate and drank in almost every bar/restaurant we came across. The condo is so close to "the night life" and yet in such a quiet location. Gloria was quick to respond when we had a question and we look forward to coming back soon.
My wife and I have stayed here for the past three years and absolutely love it! It is surprisingly roomy for a studio and takes just a couple of minutes to walk to Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way. We plan on being here every year for vacation!
