It is rare to find a house on an acre with direct access to Pt. Saint Lucie River and seeing all the dolphins, just so peaceful!
This property is a retreat house, you feel full of love and happy once you enter. There are great holistic books and a pineapple patch as well as the dolphins to watch just 700 feet away. Everything is within 5 miles yet our private road is so quiet. Everyone says its quite the shan-qualai!
This was the most charming place we stayed in Florida! Very peaceful, exquisite sunsets from the house, water-views everywhere, We called it the "Shangri -La"... so very peaceful and warm weather , a beautiful setting made our stay which was a month go by too fast...5 miles to everything including the beaches which were so beautiful! Exceptionally clean and a lot of nature to enjoy, an acre to be exact, 500' to the St. Lucie River, 3 miles to the Indian River that has more species of fish than anywhere in the world due to the Indian River Lagoon. Stuart is a hop away and is the Sailfish Capital of the world. Lots to do everyday in this area from Arts to County fairs, Seafood festivals, and Jammin at Jensen every Thursday eve.Sailing classes ,free concerts, and more..Planning on coming back...Grace is a great Host! She is considerate of your privacy and shows you everywhere to go when you want to have fun and leaves plenty of maps if she is not there to take you herself. This place only had 5 cars pass each day 9!0 being the postman. Nice and quiet yet close to everything! We'd give it a 10 rating...She normally has family so that is the reason for so few reviews, WE are happy to be friends of hers... This is a diamond in the rough and the shower outside makes it a real island experience...The pineapple patch and all the space makes for a real tropical vacation. Grace has a library of holistic books, tapes, music, and she offers retreats too; as she is a Holistic Health Educator from Connecticut and offers Continuing Education Units on these topics so the stay is a healthy one as well. It was a real holistic healthy vacation to say the least!
The place is on an acre by the water, peaceful and relaxing! Like a retreat. It is close to everything. Within 5-7 minutes your at the beach, nightlife, restaurants, sailing library, Gym, fishing, dancing ,bowling, painting, theatre, magnificent sunrises sunsets.

Jensen Beach has beautiful beaches and weather all year and the temperature of the ocean is perfect all summer too.Years ago Bob Hope and Francis Langford made laws that give this area reserved land for the manatees, sea turtles and it is one of the few areas that has so many miles of no high risers- just pure beautiful beaches with lots of shells and tranquility. There is live entertainment on the waterfront nearly very evening and some fine artist from all over the world to entertain while you enjoy each other and the quietude of this cottage on an acre 500' from the St Lucie River where manatees, dolphins and more are abound...
