This property's listing is spot-on. House was very clean and spacious. The yard is very secure for pets to roam at will without constant supervision. The garage is roomy enough for a trailer and all our motorcycles, keeping everything out of the weather and morning dew. Location is close to all major highways, including I-49. Fayetteville has numerous restaurants located a short drive from the house. This is a "retro" property, so be sure to take a few power strips for your devices, as some of the electrical outlets are difficult to access. Wi-fi worked well and so did the TV, if you care to watch. There are many scenic by-ways a short distance from the property for good motorcycle riding. Some of these are as challenging as other more famous roads you may have heard of. All provide a pleasant scenic ride, with interesting towns and attractions along the way. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to vacation in the Fayetteville area of Arkansas with their pets and/or toys.
Sorry for taking so long to write this review. We really enjoyed our stay in March. It was perfect for our family. Thank you for the Easter Baskets for the kids. They were so excited!! We will definitely return!!
Thanks Marie, we enjoyed having a "home" for our 30 day visit to Fayetteville. Thanks for the welcoming cake and cookies.
Everything was as you described. For a visit this long we expected to have to buy a lot of staples and condiments which we would then need to leave or take home to Colorado. However, everything we needed, and then some, was already there.
Even though we were very familiar with Fayetteville, we appreciated all of the local maps and tourist information. We enjoyed our visits with you about the house and your plans for additional improvements.
Perfect location for us!!
Mary is very accommodating. If there is a need she handles it. Well stocked and room for everyone.
Marie, I would like to thank you for sharing the Retro with my crew and myself. The place worked out perfect for our convenience and accessibility to our job and local services. The rooms were nicely appointed and the beds comfortable. All and all a great deal that made our stay work out! Matt Okanogan Trail Construction
My husband, stepkids, and dogs had a fantastic stay Marie's Retro Rental in Fayetteville! The home was clean and I'm a huge fan of mid-century modern, so I loved a lot of her pieces. The beds were very comfortable and the home was a great size for all of us. It is conveniently located to campus and downtown, plus a short run to the lighted path for those of us who use such things! We didn't notice road noise and the neighbors are apparently quiet as well. We didn't use the garage since we had a car-top carrier that makes it too tall to pull in, but I could see that being a nice plus. The pups enjoyed having a fully-fenced yard in which to romp, and we were thankful we could simply open the sliding door to let them out as it was a bit chilly during our stay. Marie was very responsive to my inquiries and easy to get in touch with. We aren't big eaters of sweets, but Marie's nephew had made a cake and a huge platter of cookies for us as well - such a nice touch!
I highly recommend Marie's home for those visiting Fayetteville!
