Wonderful property!

This was our third year renting at Molina de Agua and while we enjoyed the other two units that we had rented, they were not comparable to our rental this year, Casa Maximina. It is a wonderful unit! We stayed here for two weeks in January 2017 and liked it so much that when we got back to Minnesota we immediately booked it for three weeks next year just to ensure that we could stay in Casa Maximina again! Everything is of high quality from the furniture, linens, dishes, glassware and cookware right down to the kitchen towels. This apartment is beautiful; everything is tastefully done. The colors are soothing and inviting. Whoever decorated it should be applauded. It is not often that you find a rental of this high quality with such attention to detail.

The owner was fabulous. He and his management staff responded quickly to our every need and/or question...no matter how small. This attentiveness and responsiveness was a real plus.

And, Molina de Agua is a great condominium complex located right in the heart of Puerto Vallarta and staffed by wonderful, friendly people. The grounds and public spaces are immaculately kept. There is a large pool, a separate area on the beach designated for MDA guests, hammocks on the lawn to lounge in or read a book and tables along the river where one can bring a cup of coffee or lunch and just enjoy the sun and surroundings.

As I said, Molina de Agua is a lovely complex but, in my opinion, the creme de la creme for rental units in this complex is Casa Maximina. It exceeded all of my expectations and I look forward to spending three weeks there next year.

Stunning condo with dramatic views of Banderas Bay

Our group of five had a fabulous Christmas week while staying in this luxurious condo. The condo is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and spacious. There are two patio seating areas which have views of the bay and of downtown Puerto Vallarta. Getting into the condo when we arrived went very smoothly and there was someone to give us the keys, show us around and answer any questions. The condo is very well equipped. There is everything you would need to cook and enjoy a meal, towels and glassware for the pool, even a spare toothbrush should you forget to bring one. The condo is spotlessly clean with a regular cleaning service. We enjoyed the pool and it's beautiful landscaped surround. There is a swim up bar that serves snacks and drinks. The staff there was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed being so close to the Malacon and being able to walk out of the back gate and be close to the beach and a quick walk to downtown. While we felt very safe in PV, we did appreciate the excellent security at the building. There were doormen who kept track of everyone leaving or entering the property, and who were helpful in calling taxis when needed. There was also someone patrolling the grounds and paying attention to the back gate on the property. We would highly recommend staying at this property. We really had a great time.

The best rental we've ever had

My brother stayed at Molino de Agua a few months before us, and I couldn't believe how beautiful the Condo complex was. Right on the water, yet with a refreshing swimming pool as well.

We didn't stay at the property my brother rented mostly because we liked the immediate response we got from Elvis and Pablo; and we liked the way they had decorated their very large and extremely comfortable property.

I can't say enough good things about the view from our Condo. It is situated next to the river as well as the sea; so we were able to watch the rushing waters from the river flow into the sea with countless pelicans and frigate birds looking for fish to snatch! We also had great views of the Old Town and it's lovely and historic domed church. Perhaps the best advantage of all is that we walked everywhere. Best restaurants and even great beaches were minutes away. We never once considered renting a car or taking taxis simply because we were in the centrer of this very beautiful city.

Back to the Condo: everything worked very well. Good air conditioning for the hot days, extensively supplied kitchen, 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. Good security around the complex, and the staff was always very friendly. We deliberately travelled off-season, which was a treat because there were less "international tourists" (like us) and more Mexican tourists. Somehow Puerto Vallarta felt more "real".

Beautiful property

This is a really lovely unit at Molina de Agua. While many have said that the 3rd bedroom is ok, our group didn't really think it was suitable for a couple - perhaps just for kids. The other two bedrooms are fantastic, though, and the services and amenities are great! Our group had some trouble getting extra towels, using the safe and the washing machine, because the instructions were primarily in Spanish, and their understanding was limited. However, the concierges were more than willing to help if asked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely property. Great views and perfect location. All the patios were awesome!

Molino de Aqua, A Piece of Paradise

Our overall experience was excellent. The condo is more than beautiful--spacious and luxurious with a million dollar view. It is very well equipped. It is clean and well maintained.

Carlos, Fernando and their staff were very helpful and addressed questions right away and provided top notch service. All the security staff were very friendly and helpful. We were glad to have that security.

Staying in the best place, and right on the Malecon in the heart of old PV was most enjoyable.

We would definitely recommend the Molino de Aqua to friends and family.

Our only suggestions would be to improve the barbecue and to offer a TV package that includes more North American channels. Some of our friends had "Shaw" satellite.

Thank you once again for providing us with such beautiful accommodations.

Location

Car: not necessary

Live shows from different artists from usa,canada and also locals entertainments.. in Act 11 Entertainment and The Palms Cabaret bar. This amazing complex sits on Los Muertos beach in Old Town Puerto Vallarta in the area of Romantic Zone. It is so close to shopping, restaurants and nightlife activities that you will never need a car. The 'Malecon' boardwalk is directly in front of the complex and is great for leisurely walks or really good power walking first thing in the morning. Even though our kitchen is completely equipped, don't forget to try out the abundance of incredible restaurants with world renowned chefs. The cuisine in Puerto Vallarta is very international, so you can get a lot more than just burritos! The residents and staff of our complex are very friendly, so if you need help in finding something, just ask.
