About This Listing:

Historic Nashville at it's best! On Whitland Avenue, in the Whitland Historic Neighborhood. This Classic 1920 Tudor is setup for privacy and close to all the fun. It is super clean, very safe and has a 2 room Master Suite. Whisk straight down West End to Broadway in 7 min or Vanderbilt in 3 minutes. Tax is included, there is off street parking and it is safe (compare on CrimeMapping). The adjacent park is vibrant. We bought from the family that built it, This is Old Nashville!

ABOUT THE SPACE:

On the list, "Top 100 Rentals in Nashville", it is tied for First Place (out of 2871 permitted units). The Internet rocks here. So does the hot water, back to back to back showers and baths are not a problem. Each bedroom has a queen bed with quality linens and extra pillows. The bathroom has a big shower head and full size tub. The full kitchen has full appliances. Cable WIFI connection and DSL backup. Sony flat screen TV's. This is a historic 2 bdrm in the nicest neighborhood in the city. South of West End means no RR tracks. You will be close to everything and next to a park. One of the 2 bedrooms is a two-room master suite with a private living area (which you can share or keep private). Straight shot into downtown without getting on the interstate. Vanderbilt 1 mile away, Belmont 2 miles. Downtown 3 miles. 11 miles from airport. A third of a mile to interstate, if you care to use it.

GUEST ACCESS:

Guests will have access to the full upstairs apartment (separate everything including mailboxes). Off street parking for a car or truck (plenty of parking on street) along with the very chill and very private covered porch in the photo. Front and side yard. Adjacent to a vibrant 11.4 acre park with playgrounds, free tennis and food trucks most weekends. Access 3 bikes if you wish to ride around the neighborhood (bring your helmet).

Within 2 miles there are at least , 7 university/college campuses, 3 grocery stores, 6 hospitals, 4 parks, 27 holes of golf , dozens of restaurants, a lot of shopping and 14 houses of worship. One minute to Interstate. 3.1 miles to city center,10 min from airport. 11.4 ac Elmington Park is 200 feet away 2664 ac Warner Parks are 5 miles away. 132 ac Centennial Park is 1 mile away. The Centennial Park Sportsplex sells day passes.

GETTING AROUND:

Generally, Uber or Lyft are cheaper round trip to Downtown than the Cost of Parking and are 2-6 mins away almost always ,several cab companies serve the area as well. 4 Metro stops. 1 min to I-440. Minutes from downtown, Green Hills, Belle Meade and Hillsboro Village and Music Row.

HOUSE RULES.

1. No smoking. If you must smoke please do it outside with the door closed so it does not come inside.

2. No parties

3. Check-in 3 pm & Check-out noon. This may have some flexibility.

4. Please be respectful of neighbors.

5.Please do not run up or down the stairs.

5. Again, no parties but feel free have a good time

6. No outside overnight guest.

7. Guest agrees not to download and/or stream any illegal material on the homes wifi.

Convenient, clean and super friendly. Just a short lyft ride to downtown Nashville. Owners are friendly and house is well maintained and charming. Can't wait to return!

Just perfect. Perfectly close to everything, perfect beds, linens, comfort!

What a delight to arrive and see that our "hosts" provided us water and coffee. It is these little things that make the whole vacation start off perfectly. The home was located in a nice and quiet neighborhood and we did drive to all our attractions. It was a quick drive into Nashville and we found some reasonable places to park so we could walk around Honky Tonk town! Enjoyed our visits to Franklin, TN, Loveless Cafe (the line was longggg over 1-1/2 hour: so don't go there if you are just having pancakes or eggs. We had the fried chicken and it was one of the best I have had!).

Outstanding VRBO in a quiet, upscale neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is the upstairs of the owner’s home, but has its own entrance. It is comfortable, spacious, and well furnished. The location in this neighborhood is excellent and very quiet. It is close to the West End for great restaurants and many activities, but of course not far at all to downtown, either. The owner is very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
