Grand escape
We enjoyed the view from the balcony. Home had all the essentials. Only negative was the dirty linen. But I just washed them, thank goodness for the washer and dryer. Overall it was a great place and will book again.

Everything was pretty comfy and clean for the most part. A little outdated furniture but for the most part it gave it charm. Some dishware were broken, probably from previous guest but it looked like it was fixed by the owners with some tape. We loved the view, it was breathtaking, something

Cabin experience
Loved seeing deers outdoors, in the morning. Peaceful and quiet place to stay with family. Didn't risk being outdoors when it was dark due to risk of bears, elks and deers in the area. Loved our stay in this cabin....

About the host

My husband and I dedicate ourselves to raise our sons. We live in the city and bought this mountain cabin retreat for us and our boys to go and enjoy the outdoors and to have time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Why they chose this property

We chose to buy this vacation home because we desired for our sons to learn about mountain - outdoor living, like horse back riding, fishing at the lakes, climbing pine trees, breathing clean air, looking at the night stars without polluted skies, and to enjoy the quietness of the mountain. We particularly chose this cabin because it is located at the top of a hill and provides a beautiful view of the forest and the Sierra Blanca Mountain. Also, it faces west, therefore, having remodeled and put glass windows and doors on this west side wall, we enjoy the sun all day warming us as we cuddle on the living room couches to read a book or sit at the table playing board games.

What makes this property unique

Our family loves this cabin because it is inviting, pretty, and peaceful. Our cabin is very family friendly.
