As someone who has traveled extensively, I've tried to provide an environment to accommodate guests in comfort. My background is in education and the film industry. Now it's time to take it a bit easier. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA. I live in the house but respect the privacy of my guests.
Trisha purchased this house in 1987

Brandon and Bonnie were exceptional guests in every way: extremely tidy, very pleasant and personable, quiet and friendly. They were very respectful as well. I hope they return one day.
not big on writing reviews, but great quiet place in a safe area. Owner let us know about the nearby area and is very responsive to any questions. 5stars
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Trisha's during our recent visit to LA. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. She we extremely hospitable and very helpful and attentive throughout our time there. The location was perfect for us as it was a great launching pad for our excursions to Santa Monica, Venice Beach and Universal Studios. Even with so many amazing places to eat in LA, it was great to have a mini fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker in the room to use.
This house is conveniently located in Culver City,
close to the airport, grocery stores, and restaurants.
It was very clean, quiet, and everything we needed was ready use. We enjoyed having dinner in the beautiful garden.
I want to stay this place next time!
Trisha's bijoux studio suited the two of us perfectly. We were out most of the time but would have been very comfortable in the place if we hadn't been. Trisha was very accommodating and thorough in a) allowing us to check in quite late in the evening and b) providing us with all the necessary information for a smooth stay. She was extremely discreet after her initial warm greeting. The property is very well looked-after with a charming back garden and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Trisha!
I had a wonderful time. The place was clean, comfortable, and a wonderful retreat in Culver City. And the host was extremely helpful.
This was my first stay a US 'b and b' and it proved an excellent experience. The location was ideal - only a short distance to the motorway network and a few minutes from the Westfield Shopping Centre. The residence itself was in a quiet cul-de-sac and was most pleasant and spotless throughout. The photograph is a fair representation of the bedroom which looks out into a pleasant secluded garden. Trisha made me most welcome and helpfully explained the operation of the cable TV and the free Wi-Fi. The bed was comfortable and it was possible to take one's breakfast on a private patio courtesy of the coffee machine thoughtfully provided in an ante-room (although there are plenty of breakfast places within a few minutes' walk or car ride). I was able to explore LA at leisure and return tired to a restful space and catch up with my work in a peaceful environment and take a 'power shower'. Trisha was helpful and friendly hostess but not intrusive in any way. I have no hesitation in recommending Stevens Avenue as an affordable yet most restful place to stay on a visit to LA.
Property is close to LAX, Playa Vista, LMU, SONY studios and night life in downtown Culver City and 5 miles from Venice Beach. It is also centrally located on the Westside of LA or "20 minutes from everywhere" according to my guests. Santa Monica is about 10 minutes away when traffic is light and 20 minutes when it's heavy.
