The view was wonderful and relaxing and the owner is very nice to work with
Very beautiful place!
The property is nice. One bedroom lacks privacy because of the charm of a see through fireplace. The bed was not so comfortable as I haven’t slept on a spring mattress in so long. Bouncing beds disturb my sleep. But the place otherwise is a peaceful respite.
Had a great time
Nice clean house and quiet location. Good beds. Enjoyed the stay.
we had a Great time
Our family time at Anderson house was great! We had 1 adult child and 1 adult grandchild as well as 2 smaller grandchildren and the house worked perfect for us. The location is perfect. Very peaceful time, we found it to be very relaxing. We will come back.
A great place to stay, relax, fish and enjoy Hot Springs sites.
One of the best stays for my husband and I. We enjoyed relaxing on one of the decks with nice tables and chairs to enjoy with your family while the men fish. Even when it was raining, we could enjoy the lake from the porch. The huge pic windows are a beautiful scene while cooking or even sleeping. My husband caught a huge fish but did not know what it was and HE KNOWS -FISH-. SO we went to Bass Pro in Tulsa to ask them on the way home to Cherokee, OK. They were amazed at its size and were all gitty saying it looked like a ROCK BASS. Said the record was only 3 lbs and this one was around 8lbs. they wanted to see it after seeing just the picture...……….Well, my husband said, CAN't ... it's back swimming in Lake Katherine...……….they all had a big laugh. How LUCKy CAN YOU BE...………………….NOT ! Well-Cyndi Anderson is a perfect host and was always available. The neighborhood is very up-scale and very quiet. We were able to walk our 2 terriers all over the island. This is a pet friendly home stay with a back yard that is secure for your kids and pets to run free in the back yard without fear of them leaving the area. Just a very perfect stay after seeing Hot Springs.
Beautiful Views of the Lake!
Wonderful views of the lake from both bedrooms and the living room! There was even a couch that looked out on the lake from the living room. Great dock to fish from right out the back door. Cyndy was a very friendly and accommodating hostess. The house was spacious and very clean!! Beds were comfortable and the house felt like home. The house was in a perfect location to get to everywhere we were going in Hot Springs. The Belle Riverboat Cruise and Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant were both very close and enjoyable, and downtown Hot Springs was just down the road about 10 minutes. We had an overall great experience and would definitely like to come back and stay here again.
Many activities are close by or just relax on the lake. 2 minutes away are Back Porch Grill , the Hot Springs Mall, Kroger Grocery, boat rentals and mini golf. In the downtown area are the Hot Springs National Park, with great hiking trails and luxury-yet affordable- hot springs spas, art galleries including the American Art Gallery, Taco Mama restaurant, Rileys Art Glass Studio, Dryden Pottery, and Maxwell Blade Theater of Magic. The Mountain Valley Springs Company has a beautiful museum. Wonderful local churches welcome visitors. Hot Springs is very popular area for mountain biking and cycling as well. The Forest Path Gallery is very impressive for all ages and requires an appointment to visit. Great restaurants only minutes by boat from the lake house dock. Maps and coupons are provided for many of these most popular locations.
