About Karen Sowards

I have lived in Prescott since 1995 and can't imagine living anyplace else. I live with my husband near downtown Prescott, own two vacation rental homes as well as several other full time rentals. I have been a Realtor since 2002 and especially love to specialize in selling historic homes in the downtown area.

Karen Sowards purchased this cottage in 1996

Clean, comfortable and cozy

  • 5 of 5

A lovely little house that has a great location. It was an easy walk into town and all the shops. The bed was super comfortable and the neighborhood very quiet. The only "complaint" I can think of was the 2 hours of landscaping work done one day. I understand it's hard to schedule them for only when the house is unoccupied, but I was here to write and the noise of the leaf blowers was deafening. But otherwise, perfect!

Adorable cottage with all the comforts of home!

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Karen's Union Street cottage! It was perfectly equipped with all the comforts of home. Fantastic storage, closets and even a laundry room! Sure beats a hotel room! The location near the courthouse square was optimal! Will definitely return if the opportunity arises!

Cozy Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was for 2 weeks. The Cottage was our little home away from home. Everything we needed was there and more! Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had no problems at all except we forgot we were leaving one day early! It was a blessing because we had to hurry and pack and I didn't have time to feel bad that we were leaving! Karen Soward is wonderful to work with and she makes sure that you have everything you need. When we plan to return to Prescott we will definitely want to stay here again. DG

Cozy, convenient and welcoming. We Loved our stay.

  • 5 of 5

It was such a cozy place for our weekend getaway. Perfect size for a family of four, and our dog enjoyed the front yard and neighborhood walks as well. Walking distance to downtown and courthouse was just a few blocks away. Goldwater Lake was a quick 15 minute drive away. It was perfect for fishing. Cant wait to visit again.

Many fun events happen throughout the year, including arts and crafts fairs, the world's oldest rodeo (4th of July week), Christmas celebrations, and much more.
