Just a 10-15 minute drive to beautiful, family-friendly Gore Mountain. So come play in the snow and curl up in front a warm fire when you are done. Plenty of space for everyone to unwind after a day on the slopes!

My husband and I had been coming to the Adirondacks since we were teenagers. We swam in the clear lakes in summer, hiked the high peaks and camped in the fall and skied in the winter. As our children began to grow it became clear it was time to buy our own little piece of paradise. Soon we were bringing them, and their friends for weeks or weekends at this lovely home. So many wonderful memories have been made here, we invite you and your family to come and do the same.
Lynn Kiraly purchased this house in 2001
We knew this house was perfect from the moment we first stepped inside. The open floor plan, the cozy Adirondack touches and modern amenities really appealed to our family. And the location was perfect.
Two private beaches just steps away, private dock and proximity to Gore Mountain.
Me, my wife and friends were super happy this New Year! We had a wonderful time in your beautiful house! Thank you very much for everything.
We loved our stay at This tranquil lake house. It was a perfect vacation home: clean, pretty, great location and wonderful for bringing our children. We would definitely love to return.
We enjoyed our stay at Loon Lake retreat once we got through the challenges of winter weather issues including snowy roads and no electricity for several hours due to a downed tree nearby! The well appointed kitchen was perfect for the five of us and the large dining table served us well for meals and game playing. The bedrooms were all clean and suitably furnished and there were plenty of blankets and comforters. We enjoyed having a fire going in the fireplace to keep the place cozy. There was a nice HD TV with good cable service too. We snowshoed down the path and onto Loon Lake for an afternoon activity and our kids went over to Garnet Hill Lodge the following day to cross country ski. All in all it was a good Adirondack experience and we would recommend the Loon Lake Retreat to others in winter or summer!
We had a couple short power outages only 1 hour but the owner was right on it calling the power company. House was very nice and had everything we needed. Really great couple days away for skiing! Would definitely stay here again. Right at Loon Lake so looks like a nice place for the summer also
Lynn was very informative and even allowed us to arrive a few hours earlier since we
wanted to put our boat in and enjoy a full day on the water. The boat dock was perfect for our 17 foot skiff. The house was neat and clean with plenty of room. It was secluded in the woods with a short walk down to the lake. During the week sometimes we felt like we had the lake to ourselves... Had a great time photographing the 4 loons that were always on the water. We had a great time.
