This rental features a brand new washer/dryer and stainless steel kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher, double oven stove and fridge with a double bottom drawer freezer. The kitchen also features new cabinets and a new silestone countertop. The living room features an extra long couch, brand new 42" wall-mounted HDTV, Blueray DVD player and high-speed internet. Floors are completely renovated with non-slip blue slate. The house is furnished with all brand new furniture, including a King bed in the master bedroom and a pull out sofa in the living room with a comfortable foam mattress. Extra closet space is provided for guests staying on the sofa bed, with a wardrobe in the living room. The house is fully stocked with linens, dishes, and everything else you need to feel at home.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Great location right on the beach (50 stairs to beach). Condo is perfect for 4. Clean with comfortable beds (king and bunks). Kitchen with new appliances.

Beachfront views, secluded beach, and 30 Seconds to the beach

I have 2 young kids and my husband and I were looking for easy beach access, an ocean view, and a pool for the kids. We got all 3 requirements and then some! The price is fairly reasonable.

The condo: The kids loved the bunk beds. The condo was simple, comfortable, and everything that we needed. Alma, the owner was quick to respond to all questions. All you have to do is communicate and she will respond.

Summary: my family and I hope to return to this condo next great. We had a wonderful experience and are looking forward to Summer 2018. I recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a great ocean view, a not so crowded beach, and simple and pleasant accommodations.

Description is not very accurate

The view from condo is very impressive,but that's where the positives end,only things in unit that don't need a lot of attention is fridge ,counter top, and dishwasher.Furniture is falling apart,everything needs painting ,This place could be very impressive,but falls way short of expectations.

Misleading Description

The description of this condo is significantly misleading. This condo was not very clean or well kept. There was mold coming out of the air vents. The kitchen cabinets had string hanging out in place of cabinet knobs. There was a note on the kitchen counter saying it was unstable and not to put anything heavy on the counter. Half of the light switches didn't work and the wall plugs looked very outdated and dangerous with multiple wires all twisted together. There was also a significant roach problem while we were there. I noticed roach droppings on the kitchen counter, bathroom counter, and on the walls. Every night around 5:00pm, roaches started coming out in the condo. This continued all night. We went and bought roach stations but that did not help. I notified the owner and she was unsuccessful on getting someone to come take care of the problem. We have a two year old child that plays on the floor and sleeps close to the floor and we had to constantly watch for roaches around her. We were there for 24 hours and decided to leave but the owner refused to refund our money. I would never recommend this place and I don't think it should even be listed on HomeAway.

Excellent walk out gulf front one bedroom condo!

We loved the location of the condo. The bunk beds in the living area provided a perfect napping spot for a rainy afternoon. Lighting in the bedroom was difficult to manage and There wasn't a designated area for bikes. Other than those two very minor issues......our stay in this well equipped condo was great and we look forward to returning.

great location, but there were a few problems

we had a wonderful stay in Seacrest FL. the location of the condo was close to most things. it was a bit too far to bike to Seaside, but closer to Ali beach. The ocean view was excellent. There are about 3 flights of stairs to the beach, but that was not a problem for us.

The issues we had:

1. the claim of completely renovated- greatly exaggerated the kitchen, bath vanity and floors are new, but nothing else.

2. the pool was closed for renovations during our stay (this would have been fine if we were made aware, but I specifically chose a location with a pool and it was very disappointing not to have access to one.

3. there is not key to the back porch so we had to walk around the building to get to and from the beach.

4. The mattress were very uncomfortable and so were the pillows.

5. I know the room had been cleaned before we arrived, but honestly there was still so much sand that I vacuumed and swept again myself.

6. We had terrible allergies while we were there, and when we looked the a/c vents seem to have mold on them. This should be looked in to. It is Florida so there is always some mold somewhere, but this seemed more than expected.

we would not stay here again.

Location

Here, you are a short bike ride away from the communities of Alys Beach and Rosemary (where you will find outdoor concerts, local art displays and shops and eateries) and close to other beach communities such as Blue Mountain, Dune Allen, Grayton, Water Color and Seaside where fine dining, shopping and a salon/spa can be found. Along 30-A, there are eighteen miles of bike paths. Looking for a day in town? You will be just a few miles from shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, water parks, miniature golf, etc. in Destin (including the largest designer outlet mall in the country in Sandestin). In the opposite direction, Panama City is a short half-hour drive away. The Fort Walton Beach and Northwest Florida Beaches Airports are each less than an hour away.
