Fell View Cottage

We found the information received regarding both the cottage and facilities to be spot on. The owners could not have been more helpfull or caring, ( including the welcome phone call to make sure all was well )

The cottage is of a very high standard through out and matches the best we have rented elsewhere. We found the directions and key system excellent, and enjoyed the lovely welcome tray left for us!

The information pack and visitor book gave us great ideas for our stay but unfortunatly we ran out of time to avail ourselves of every thing we would like to have done.

The only answer is we will have to revisit in the future for a longer stay and enjoy the missed adventure from the comfort of this lovely cottage.

Fabulous family cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, the house was a great size for our family of four. A great location to explore the lakes and fabulous to be able to walk to the lovely Pheasant pub for early dinners. The cottage was clean and well equipped, including lovely biscuits on arrival!

Great cottage, that's larger than you expect. Very warm, including a gas fire in the lounge. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely linen, great shower....A very short drive from the Grange over Sands town that has the best bakery cafe called Hazelmere cafe. A lovely little town with woodlands nearby for off lead dog walking. Walks from the cottage, but it's also not too far from Lake District areas. A really nice spot that is comfortable, cosy and easy. Would highly recommend. A nice call from Brian the owner to make sure everything was in order, and a quick chat about local walks etc. A nice touch. Very kid friendly, we have a 2 year old and nearly 5 year old that were well catered for, including travel cot, high chair, plastic plates and bowls etc, big bath, tv and wifi and a box of toys to discover. Very very easy!!

Sweet and cosy cottage

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was extremely comfortable and had everything one could wish for in a home away from home.

The owners very very prompt in responding and had extremely clear directions to get to the cottage. Over emails and through manuals in the cottage they gave us a lot of information about the facilities in the cottage and what to do around the area.

It was very convinient to have a downstairs cloakroom.

A very relaxing cottage

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely relaxing week at Fell View. The cottage was just as advertised it was in a quiet location but easy to find. It was very clean with excellent facilities and plenty of storage space. The garden was enclosed making it ideal for our dog and also a nice place to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. The information that we received before we went and also in the cottage was very well thought out there was a lot of local information suggesting places to visit and eat out and also plenty of maps for local walks. We appreciated the welcome tray and also the call from the owners to make sure everything was OK.

We recommend a trip to the Pheasant inn for food which is a 5 minute walk away the staff were very friendly and dogs are welcome.

We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday
