Welcome to Olivette – a true Caribbean gem positioned on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. This beautiful home with its lovely tropical garden is surrounded by breathtaking vistas of the ocean and nearby hills. Relax to the sight and sounds of the ocean waves as they make their way to the shore, and on moon lit nights you can enjoy the stunning beauty of the moonlight as it shimmers across the ocean.

Olivette is well-appointed with 2 bathrooms with shower and tub combination; a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, cookware, bakeware, glassware and utensils; a laundry room with a washing machine, washtub, iron and ironing board. Both bedrooms have an ample supply of queen-sized bed linens, pillows and towels.

About Judith Josiah-Martin

This home was built by our parents as a retirement property and over the years we have entertained many friends and family who came to share the warmth and beauty of this property. For many persons, this home has been a peaceful retreat and a home away from home. Most of our family lives on the east coast of the US but occasionally we return to this island oasis for rest and relaxation.

This home was built on land that has been in our family for generations. It is located on the southern part of the island which is characteristically green and lush and home to several pristine beaches. Nearby facilities offer snorkeling and shopping.

A daily housekeeper and cook can be provided at an additional cost. All meals are Caribbean in style. Transportation to and from the pick up location at the beginning and end of the rental period will be provided by the owner at no additional cost. Assistance in locating tours and excursion, rental cars, and other services can be provided by owner.

Accommodations were very nice. We stayed for several weeks and the place felt like Home. Any thing we needed or had questions about were handled promptly by the on island manager, Lenard.

Fantastic Views!

We had a great time at this home to say the least! Only issue was the driveway into the property. Very rough and steep, but, once you get to the house you tend to forget about that driveway. Home is very comfortable. We enjoyed the pelicans diving for dinner most afternoons. This is truly a diamond in the rough! Yes, a car is needed here! We were a 15 min drive to Jolly Harbour for restaurants, 7 miles. Price paid for this one was on the low side. It is well worth more for sure!! Thanks so much to Tracy who met us at the airport and Lenard, the property manager, was available anytime and was very friendly and helpful.

This home, due to it's location, would be perfect for guests that stay home at night and make their dinner in. I did not care for the night time driving.

The little beach that is there is too rough to go swimming, but, has treasures to find on it. Like sea glass and shells.

All of the other reviews have said it all. Nothing negative to report here, just a great home to rent and enjoy!!!!

Sweet Peaceful Retreat

We just returned from staying three nights at Olivette. It was lovely! Very well kept! It is very secluded with an amazing view! It has a well-furnished kitchen and the caretakers even had fresh fruit awaiting us. They arranged a car to be delivered to the house as well. The home is very comfortable and lovely. Nice two bedroom two baths. Air conditioning worked well and great wifi! A car is a must as nothing is within walking distance here. But we navigated the potholes pretty well and enjoyed our stay! Thank you to everyone who helped make our stay amazing!

We couldn't believe how beautiful this property was. The location is absolutley wonderful.

We stayed at Olivette in Old Road Village. From the start of our holiday it was an amazing experience. From being met at the airport by Brittany who took us to the local supermarket which was so helpful. We were met by Lenard the house Manager who welcomed us so warmly. We were totally amazed by the property and the location. It is so beautiful and private. The views from the house and balcony are stunning. The house itself is very comfortable with everything you could wish for. The snorkeling at a nearby beach is out if this world we saw up to 40 different species of fish. It was a good central location to get to other areas by car which you definatley need to hire. We needed a relaxing holiday after a tough year and we certainly got that.

Beautiful house with spectacular view

All the good things you have read about this property are 100% true. One of our best vacations ever. A perfect place to unwind. The Antiguan people are lovely and the loveliest one of all is property manager Lenard.

We recommend taking the day trip to Montserrat, having special dinner at Carlisle Bay Resort next door, spending some beach time at Darkwood, seeing Nelson's Dockyard, circumnavigating the island on big catamaran tour, beach-combing on the little beach below the house, or just sitting on the Olivette balcony with a book. We didn't have time to explore rainforest hiking trails, nor did we see the historic sights in St Johns. Saving them for next time.

This property is a solo property (not a resort type property, so there are no services onsite) but we are in the tourism belt of Antigua where there are many attractions and services within a 10-15 minute drive.

Due to the close proximity to Jolly Harbor most service (ATM/Bank, Shopping, Groceries, Car Rentals, Posts, Pharmacy, Fitness Center, Golf, Restaurants, Boat Rentals, Marina, Sailing etc.) can be acquired there.

Day passes to the nearby (5 minutes drive) to 5-Star Hotels of Curtain Bluff and Carlisle Bay Resorts can provide similar resort type services.

Island tours and excursions (Safari tours, kayaking, canoeing, zip line canopy, rainforest tours, biking tours, etc. can be acquired from local vendors and the owners would love to make some recommendations that will make your visit all you want it to be.

Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% of the payments made (which includes the $180.00 damage deposit), if the reservation/booking is cancelled 30 days prior to guest arrival. We will refund 25% of the payments made, if the reservation/booking is cancelled 10 days prior to guest arrival. There is only a refund of the damage deposit of $180.00 if reservation/booking is cancelled within 3 days prior to scheduled arrival.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
