This spacious, elegant 2 BR apartment is the whole top floor of our historic limestone townhouse in Ditmas/Flatbush. Only 25 min to Wall Street. Short walk to the 2&5& Q train.

Perfect for family or two couples or group that like to share and have their own privacy as well.

The apartment has two bedrooms, a dressing room with large wardrobe, a study, dining area, full kitchen, washer-dryer, and large air conditioned living room with 60" smart TV.

The two air-conditioned bedrooms are situated at either end of the apartment. There is a TV in the master bedroom. There is also a chair-bed and a large sofa which can be used for extra guests.

Towels and linens and kitchen utensils are all provided.

Why William chose Flatbush - Ditmas Park

We moved to Brooklyn from the West Village, Manhattan, and we just love it. It is peaceful and quiet yet has plenty of shopping around. We are a stone's throw from the supermarket, the Gap, Old Navy, Staples, and the newly renovated and restored Kings Theater, and the subway makes it easy to go to Manhattan.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment has all you need for comfortable, easy living. There is a washer and dryer, dish washer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and fully equipped kitchen.

There are two flat screen TVs (60" in the living room) with premium channels.This is what our guest say:

Great and large property 10 mins for Q, 2 and 5 lines.

We had a great stay with our 4 and 6 year old daughters. The apartment is very large, with everything we needed for a weeks stay.

Doors to building (shared with Dana and William - great hosts) have security codes and access is easy (traditional brown brick town house). Then 1 flight of stairs to the apartment.

As with most town houses the layout is a bit quirky. 2 double bedrooms (one very large with TV / Netflix / cable) and both with aircon (bit noisy but was 30 degrees one day so very grateful!).

Lounge area (3rd aircon) with large screen, again with cable and Netflix and plenty of comfy seating.

Dining area which was great for 4 but could comfortably get 6 around. Also a bunch of local info, books, games etc.

A separate dressing area which has a small pull down bed and loads of storage space. Loads of towels and additional bedding.

Kitchen has a 2 seater table, gas oven, massive american fridge, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and all essentials. [Dana - if I'm being really fussy you could do with a large pan :-) ].

Kitchen also had key items in.. tea and coffee, sugar, some pasta and various other bits which I guess vary over time.. but great to have key bits available.

There’s a utility area next to the kitchen which has a high end washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bathroom has a good powerful shower over a shallow bath (not sure there was a plug - might want to check if bath is important to you). Not sure how water is heated, but there was always hot water when we needed it.

We arrived at midnight and Dana couldn't have been more accommodating. Queries before we arrived and during our stay were generally answered in minutes (via this site and whatsapp).

There are two subway lines nearby.. both probably under 10 minute walk for adults.. nearer 15 mins for us with kids. These take you to all the key places in Manhattan door to door in 30-60 mins depending on where you're going.

In an ideal world you might want to be a bit closer to Manhattan or shorter walk to a subway, but given the size and quality of the accommodation this was an easy compromise to make.

Wifi worked well for our many devices. There were some connection issues with Netflix which Dana wanted to resolve, but we said wasn’t an issue for us. I’m confident this was resolved as soon as we left.

Local supermarket is big and cheap and has a loyalty card you can sign-up for at the information desk. Also a nice independent supermarket at the Cortelyou Road subway

Impressed with owners!

The apartment is huge by NY standards!! It is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and clean!!

William and Dana were very kind and helpful, even recommending restaurants in the area and allowing us to keep our bags there after check out until leaving for our fight!

The apartment is a short walk to train and bus stops, so getting to Manhattan was relatively easy! Also there is a car service in the neighborhood that is a good alternative to other ride services.

We would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay again!

We were very comfortable, had just the right amount of space and the location was perfect for access to Manhattan trains and a sweet local neighborhood.

Prospect Lefferts Gardens is a colorful, multi-cultural area with a multitude of shops, malls, gyms, a newly restored live theater (Kings Theater), and easy access to Manhattan. The apartment at 2463 Bedford Avenue is just 6 minutes from the nearest subway (25 minutes to Manhattan), and a stone's throw to the Kings Theater, several gyms, Sears, the Gap, Stop and Shop, and a host of other shops. The area is known as "Little Manhattan" because of all the leisure and commercial facilities it has to offer.
