Welcoming Home

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at Casa Buena Vista with our family of nine, six adults and three young children. The home is very kid-friendly with a downstairs den with pool table, foosball, darts, checkers, and TV with DVD player. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from any of the three outside decks or from the hot tub on the lower deck. The home is well-stocked with everything you will need in the kitchen. The owners were wonderful to work with. Although we had no problems at the home, we knew they were a phone call away.

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying at our special getaway in the mountains. Your right, its perfect for family dynamics, five bedrooms to spread out, a dedicated and isolated gameroom with smarter “than me” TVs for viewing your own movies/shows, and spectacular mountain and valley-floor views from our three decks. Like yours, our three generation family loves their Summer and Winter trips to the family mountain house. Please come back again. The Gaspard’s

Owner's Response: Thanks for discovering our mountain escape. Because our place is above 7400 foot elevation our guests are able to enjoy cooler high altitude temps and ocassional afternoon showers while surrounding states broil in the Summer heat. We also have cool AC for those rare heat spells. We have daily visits of neighborhood deer, and ocassionally, elk and turkey to feed off our 2000 sf of deck that overlooks the pinion valley and looks up to Sierra Blanca ski mountain. Our five bedrooms and entertainment features provide plenty of space to spread out and enjoy family time. We look forward to your return visit. The Gaspards.

Great House, views, and comforts!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay. We were revisiting Ruidoso area to relive family trips from well over 20 years ago and the beautiful home served as a great home base to see it all! The decks provided great views as well as wildlife views. We had as many as 11 deer at a time feeding off the back deck!! Inside we had every needed comfort and supplies! Thanks to the owner for sharing such a wonderful vacation home!

Owner's Response: Memorial of our most popular weekends....opening day of horse racing at Ruidoso Downs. Whether you spend your time enjoying the races, or exploring wonderful family oriented Ruidoso, or western history of Billy the Kid/Lincoln County Wars (Google it!), you will not find a better home-base than our CasaBuenaVista. Plenty of room to spread out or to rest in-between your daily adventures, to kick-back and enjoy the wild-life that visit our back-deck daily, experience sun-rises & sun-sets, & awesomely spectacular views of Sierra Blanca. Thanks for your stay with us. We invite others to come see for themselves. The Gaspard's

Perfect Stay for Extended Family

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect house and location in the Ruidoso area. Our party of six adults and five children was very comfortable here. Each family had their own space and there was plenty of room to spread out. The decks and views were stunning and the multiple activities available in the bar/game room on the lower level kept everyone busy. We would stay again.

Games galore and hot-tub time for the kids on the lower level, peaceful family dinner-chats & fire-side conversations in the mid-level great room, and a spacious deck for BBQ'ing, experiencing awesome sun-rises/sunsets, spectacular mountain views overlooking a pinion forest valley. And spacious bedrooms for personal time-outs. We hope to see you again. Summers are great to escape the broiling heat. The Gaspard's
