A wonderful location in the heart of old town Apalachicola. Walk to great restaurants and charming art galleries and fun shops. This flat exudes southern charm and style as well as possessing 21st century conveniences
Apalachicola remains reminiscent of Old Florida. Where one can explore a riverfront, unique historic districts, walk to downtown, relax, dine at a variety of outstanding restaurants, explore the Maritime Center, & relax some more especially if you stay at 49 Palmetto. The flat is perfect ! Just the right amount of comfort & charm located within a short walk to downtown. You have two bedrooms -both very comfortable, a well designed kitchen area, dining & living room area plus shower bath with washer & dryer. Sleek design - The floors are light wood, the furnishings are artistic eclectic with big style plus elegant art works. An extra treat is the wonderful porch with rocking chairs.
All is very welcoming.
With pleasure I recommend.
The property was very well kept, the apartment was cozy and the area quiet. Anna-Maria was a lovely host, friendly and attentive to our needs. We had a great time both in the town of Apalachicola and touring the natural environment.
It pleases me to highly recommend the Flat at 49 Palmetto. It is located just 2 blocks from Historic Apalachicola's downtown with unique & quaint shops, terrific dining options and the Apalachicola Riverfront. It is a very lovely and newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment with a comfortable and wonderful living and dining area. It accommodates 4 beautifully. It has a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and wifi. The Flat was very clean, and artistically decorated. I stayed 6 weeks and felt totally at home in my Apalach Apartment. Every morning I take a 3 mile hike and mother nature treats me to incredible sunrises along Bay Avenue and a viewing of an active eagles nest on 12th Street. Some mornings there were manatees or dolphin at the pier at Lafayette Park. All this within a comfortable walk from my Flat. Thank You for your top notch customer attention.
