J4Brehm's Guest Ranch .....James, Jeanine, Jason and Joshua Brehm ....the four J's in J4Brehm's Guest Ranch.....we didn't think we were going to have a guest ranch way back when we started to look for mountain property, but once we found our piece of heaven with wonderful night skys and amazing views.... Laramie Wy just became home for a new love and adventure to self build cabin and our guest ranch.... there was no stopping us!....From the very first log of our very first cabin (the bunkhouse) our boys ...now men piled and raised each log from 10:30 a..m. til 7:00 p.m.. Just in time to take a break and picture as the sun started to set.....the cabin and ranch building had just begun and the business started about 3 years later......come on out and see what we fell in love with, we know you will too!
James or Jeanine Brehm purchased this cabin in 2003
Sitting on a front porch and just taking it all in .....if you enjoy a morning cup of coffee and truly enjoy just watching nature, it is the best place to be......or the back porch with views that don't stop with a cool refreshing beverage......Antelope, birds, and endless wildflowers.......snow capped mountains, skiing and sledding.....hiking, fishing, sightseeing or downtown shopping, it all within 15 miles... either direction....we sit exactly right in the middle of both...worlds ...town and mountains.....why this property........why anywhere else???
We have amazing night skys, peaceful days, private hot tubs, fire pit for cookouts and horseshoes pit just awaiting a challenge .......are you up for it?? Ready for a little Wyoming adventure.....we were and we love it here! J4Brehm's Guest Ranch is a great place for Family and Friend Reunions ,College Orientations or Graduations, lodging prefect for the large or extend famil bies but can be very special place for two.....honeymoon, anniversitary or weddings, lodging sharing is a great way for multi families or friends to have lots of fun without having to spend lots of money for lodging!!
We chose the J4 Brehm Guest Ranch on a week-long base for our daughter's wedding up in the Snowy Range. We utilized the "Bunkhouse" (9 of us) and the "Guest Cabin" on the property. Both buildings were comfortable, clean, well appointed with nice sheets, blankets, etc. Lots of little touches. Pretty much everything that hangs or sits on a shelf is for sale. One of our party said (in a complimentary way) "it's like Cracker Barrel" :-) Coffee, condiments, toiletries, wine (racked with one complimentary bottle) and on and on. The timber furniture and beautiful views from this high plains location are incredible. Horses, cattle, turkeys, pigs, antelope outnumber the guests! Jim and his wife Jeanine bend over backwards to make sure you're ok, without being intrusive. Firewood provided, outside fire pit, well-kept hot tub, outdoor chairs.......Just incredible. We'll be back! Whether you want quiet time, a family gathering, hunting trip.....this is Tranquility Base and close enough to fishing, mountains, Laramie and the beauty of the Snowy Range but far enough away too.
Jeanine and Jim were the best hosts and offered a great place to stay and awesome customer service. They were full of information about everything we had to ask. The cabin was awesome and furnished very well. Only about a 20 minute drive to the snow capped mountains which allowed us to play in the snow in July. This is a place you should stay. The listing was spot on ad the property was clean and well maintained.
We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Our group of fourteen was visiting Wyoming for the first to attend a wedding and booked both the guest house and bunk house for a week. James and Jeanine were amazing hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome in every way. Both cabins were clean and comfortable and the decor was everything we would expect in a Wyoming guest ranch. The kids loved wandering the property and took advantage of every opportunity to feed the pigs, horses, chickens, and turkeys. The ranch is located conveniently between town and the mountains providing easy access to all that Wyoming has to offer. If you are planning a trip to Laramie, Centennial, or anywhere else in southern Wyoming, stop shopping around and book with the J4Brehm Ranch; you will not be disappointed.
We loved our stay at this cabin. We got there late the first night and they had everything ready for us including the wood stove going so it would be warm when we got there. It was very nice and clean and we loved the cabin. Plenty of room for a very good price. We will definately be back. The owner was very friendly and they have always had good communication with us.
Just what we hoped for and more! Loved going into the mountains for hiking and fishing. Convenient and affordable grocery shopping in Laramie. Cooked over the open fire on the evening and marveled at the night sky views. We will definitely return!
Not sure where to even begin with this review. It was what I expected and much more. We traveled here from Middle Tennessee for my a close friends/family high school graduation gift. We came for the Cheyenne Frontier Days and didnt want to stay in the city. We wanted the true "western" experience. The cabin we stayed at (Guest Cabin) was exactly what we wanted and the ranch was beautiful. We were greeted by Jeanine and even had some of the most delicious cookies waiting for us on the counter when we arrived. The weather could have not been better for our stay. Everything was clean and maintained very well. The views from the ranch were breathtaking and I would have been happy sitting on the covered porch the whole trip just soaking up God's beauty. They were more than nice and accomodating on our needs and suggestions and even came out after midnight to bring us gas when our rental car ran out. This was above and beyond in my opinion. One of the days of our stay Jim & Jeanine even took us sightseeing in Medicine Bow National Forest and took us trout fishing with Rusty & Goldie (their 4 legged fur babies). We all had a wonderful time and it was so sad to leave. I CANT WAIT to go back hopefully next year and take more family and friends along. I will admit, seeing the 2 negative reviews I was skeptical about booking the cabin, I AM SO GLAD that i decided to book there anyway. If this place doesn't make someone happy, you don't belong in Wyoming HA :-) While visiting this ranch, make sure to go about 10 minutes to the west to Centennial, Wyoming and stop in at the Old Corral gift shop (handmade Wyoming souvenirs that are adorable), Country Junction gift shop and Bear Tree Cafe & Tavern (great food)
Jim & Jeanine: From Smiley and myself, thank you for making this an experience of a lifetime. Hope to see you again next year :-)
