Great view of the water. Close to the store and many attractions. The house if very well maintained and very comfortable for a small group or large group. Will be returning again. This was my third year in this house. Very glad that the new deck was put on the house. The owner is very good to deal with.
Great choice for a fun
House has the extras in the kitchen if you plant to prepare meals. Soap paper towel toilet paper already there.
Lovely family time together
Unit was perfect for us!! Even though earlier than wanted to go- have no control when schools close for Spring break!! House very spacious and Tommy was very easy to work with— most courteous & accommodating!! Enjoyed family time at the beach — being 71 — I shouldn’t have challenged my 15 yr old to a foot race on the beach— pulled hamstring— but think I could have taken him (((LOL)) He wasn’t even trying!!
Overall we were pleased and made it work..
It states it is handicap accessible and it it to a point..our loved one is paralysed from the waist down with some limitations of his upper extremities..he is in a motorized wheelchair which made it very difficult for him to maneuver. To reach his bedroom he had to access it from outside. Also neither bathroom had bathing accessibility for him. Would like to recommend that the thermostat be moved upstairs..Cold in the bedrooms while you burn up upstairs.
Renter asked for details of accessibility before confirming the rental. I responded by email letting him know of all aspects of what we offered for handicapped accessibility. He had asked to view the property before confirmation and I agreed but he decided not take me up on the offer to see the house.
Great house in a perfect location, right next to beach access. Well stocked kitchen (pots, pans, dishes and more) with everything we needed. Great views from porches. Will return!
Perfect location....as close to being oceanfront without actually being oceanfront
We enjoyed staying at Carolina Clipper 8/20 -8/27/2017. The ocean views from the decks were beautiful. I enjoyed drinking my coffee in the morning on the deck looking at and listening to the ocean. We also enjoyed the hammock . We had everything we needed , It was very clean and
felt like home. The deck on top is secure all the way around ,which was reassuring with a 2 year old running around. The elevator was wonderful to have with an infant and toddler to keep from having to go up and down stairs each time we went to beach or out and about. The beach access is so close and a few steps from the property. Central location to the island. We would definitely stay here again.
