3 bedroom, 2 bathroom canal home with heated pool, easy drive to many beaches

Come stay a while and see why we absolutely fell in love with this property and the Punta Gorda community! The spacious and bright three bedroom home sleeps six but offers great privacy with the split floor plan. Enjoy the heated pool (my favorite!) throughout the winter months or sit on the lanai even if it should rain because the roof extends over it. Relax in the Adirondack chairs and watch the boaters cruise by in the canal...or even spot a dolphin making its way back out to Charlotte Harbor (another of my favorites)!

There are many diverse restaurants and boating activities within an easy walk, bike ride or drive. If there is a need for a beach then a short ride to Fort Myers or Venice will get you the fix. You will find a farmers market in town on Saturday mornings, and Fishermen's Village (ok, another favorite!) is the perfect place to shop or eat while watching the boats come and go and watch others fish for the plentiful fish in the Harbor.

A short boat cruise up the Peace River will provide the feel of a tropical paradise and you can stop at Nav-A-Gators restaurant for some local food and entertainment. Many of the Punta Gorda bars and restaurants provide music of various types nearly every night. You will have a hard time picking which one you wish to hear on any given night!

Many extras are provided for your enjoyment: gas grill, four bikes, two beach chairs, cooler, washer and dryer, beach towels, blow dryers and more!

The Punta Gorda Isles neighborhood has a peaceful, small town feel and downtown Punta Gorda, less than 3 miles away, has charming shops and many restaurants to whet your palate. Fishermen's Village is an easy 1 mile stroll or bike ride away. Having both a swimming pool and a canal provides the luxury of a private swim and the feel of a cabin on a lake. The canal access allows a 5 minute boat ride to Charlotte Harbor for fishing, boating or a ride to the Gulf.

Property was beautiful location, all amenities our family was looking for in our vacation.

This was the first time my family used a vacation home rental and we are hooked. It was a simple and easy way to vacation. The home had all the amenities we were looking for our family. The house was clean. The only complaint I heard was from two of my children that slept in the twin bedroom the beds were not comfortable. But the house had so much more to offer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Wonderful Vacation Rental with Many Amenities!

Fabulous, canal front house in great location in Punta Gorda. Included bikes give you access the the historic area and the Saturday Farmer's Market (buy your produce and seafood here!), as well as the broader community of Punta Gorda Isles. The house is fully equipped with a wonderful screened in, heated pool, flat-screen TV's, a gas grill and everything you might want to make your vacation more special. The home was very clean and exceptionally well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and strongly recommend this home as a vacation rental.

Great location in Punta Gorda Isles

Very comfortable home in great location (especially if you enjoy walking or biking). Everything you need is here to make your stay enjoyable. Had an issue with a TV but Wanda had it resolved PDQ! Nice pool and outside living area make Florida living very enjoyable. PGI Grill is a short 0.5 mile walk down Bal Harbor Drive and is a great breakfast spot (reasonable prices, great service and tasty fare) and Fishermans Village (with too much to list here) about one mile away. If you want a comfortable spot to stay and enjoy all the PG has to offer then you will find this house just right. We can safely give this home our two thumbs up and recommend it with no hesitation.

Nice house

This house was clean and the location was good. However the AC didn't work very well. It's not a new problem, several previous renters have complained. The master bedroom was always in the mid to high 80's, albeit at high summer. However, if you are going to charge people rent, the AC needs to work; replace it. Owner replied promptly and a repairman was sent when I complained. It's now a month on and I haven't received my security deposit back yet. This is too long.
