The yard here is amazing and can be used for large gatherings or a quiet get a way, Very well cared for & in full bloom. Lots of rose bushes and Shade trees. This is a perfect getaway for any occasion. This Historic Home sits on a well known historic street in down town Prescott. Walking distance to many restaurants. There is parking in rear inside an enclosed gated area. The fruit trees are in bloom, we have an Apple, a Pear, & a Peach tree in the back yard, as well as several black berry bushes. Be the lucky one to harvest the fruit.

Quaint with lovely yard

  • 4 of 5

I visited the rose cottage with a friend to do a local MTB race. The place was very nice and conveniently located to downtown. The yard was gorgeous! Everything was well kept and working properly. I was a bit disappointed at the lack of soap, shampoo and coffee for the price ($100 cleaning fee on a 2 night stay). Overall, I'd do it again.

Great stay at the cottage

  • 5 of 5

My family loves staying at the rose cottage. The house is a charming reflection of times past yet with all modern conveniences. It's yards are well manicured and surrounded by a variety of gorgeous roses making it an enjoyable place to hang out. The location couldn't be better. Close enough to walk downtown but far enough to nitty be bothered by the traffic or people. This is one of our most favorite places to stay. Highly recommend it!

Relaxing escape from hectic life in Prescott

  • 5 of 5

We wanted to find a place where we could walk to downtown after a long drive from Los Angeles. The Rose Cottage met our expectations. The host left several magazines and local flyers for perusal. The area felt safe and we encountered no problems. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking but did enjoy sitting on the porch and listening to the cicadas. While downtown we noticed people actually obeying pedestrian lights. We didn't want to leave.

Clean, well-appointed, fantastic yard

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I -- along with two 100-pound dogs -- have been using VRBO for several years in various cities. This was far and away our favorite house. You do have to get past the period furnishings a bit and taking a shower in a clawfoot tub isn't my personal favorite. That said, this property is incredible. We've been researching smaller towns to retire to and my wife joked that we should make the owner an offer.

Incredibly clean, all modern amenities in a Victorian package (central AC, flat screen, cable, wifi), fantastic bedding. Our favorite, though, was the backyard. Incredible seating, trees, fully fenced for dog security. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel to P-town.

Great old historic home.

  • 5 of 5

We loved that it was fenced in all the way around so our 20 month old grandson couldn't escape, we loved the little gazebo area with the wind chimes and bistro table for two, we loved the area designated for barbecuing along with the table and chairs and the outdoor ambiance lights. The home had everything we needed for a mini vacation. My daughter wished we were there longer than 2 nights. It was ideal for our weekend with the kids and grandson. Thank you! We also loved the garden setting and all the flowers. It has been kept up beautifully.
