This house sits on the corner in between the Bank and the Cottage. Also, it's catycorner across the street from the General Store.
There's a full size bed plus a bunk bed in the bedroom off the dining room.
The dining room itself has a bench that folds out into a twin bed.
The living room has a twin sleeper sofa as well as a daybed.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, plus a twin bed, with a full bath attached.
With this house being nestled in between our other homes, it makes a perfect addition to our Petersburg properties.
Recently rehabbed, it has two completely new full baths...one off the master bedroom, the other off the kitchen.
With the layout of the beds and bedrooms, this home is perfect for two families traveling together...or just one family who wants more space.
Because most of our guests are here to visit the Creation Museum, you can be confident that your neighbors will be kind and thoughtful people -- at least that's how we've found our guests to be! And what a blessing they are ;-))
The "House on the Corner" was perfect for our family. We have 7 children so staying in a hotel is difficult. This house was in a great location for us to go to the Creation Museum, Ark, and Cincinnati Zoo. We had a blast at all three locations but being able to come "home" each night was such a blessing. The kids were able to play in a relaxed setting, we watched some movies, and were able to really enjoy our home away from home. The house was clean, decorated beautifully, and priced right. We hope to come back to the Creation Museum and Ark again sometime in the near future and the first place we will look for lodging is Deborah's Guesthouses!
What a great place to stay. The town a Petersburg is a quiet little town with great things for kids to do while you stay. The house was great, very comfortable and everything was clean. Many little amenities that I wouldn't have even thought we would utilize. It was a quick ride to the Creation Museum and about 45 mins from the Ark Encounter. We will be telling all our family/friends that are coming to this area to check out these homes. And next time we come to the area we will rent from Deborah again. Thank you!!
Eight women (ages 16-73) from our church rented "The Corner House" for 2 nights. Went to the Creation Museum and to the Ark Experience. Chose "The Corner House" for its proximity to the museum and for the fact it accommodated everyone under one roof rather than having to book separate hotel rooms. - It was nicely furnished and adequately equipped to meet every need. Bathrooms and kitchen were updated and very clean. Everyone reported sleeping well on the mattresses. There were plenty of towels too. We lacked for nothing. - It was very enjoyable. Definitely would recommend it.
We were there during the week of September 18, 2016. Our experience was great. The location was perfect for seeing the Creation Museum, Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens and the Ark Encounter. Plenty of room. The House on the Corner made us feel like we were at home. It certainly will be a place I would recommend to family and friends. I would stay here again when I am in the area. Thank you again
Great place! Very clean! Convenient to all local attractions.
For a large family Corner House was perfect! It was much cheaper than a hotel with personal space for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped so we saved money and ate decent meals. The laundry meant we could leave with clean clothes, ready for the next leg of our holiday.
We visited Kentucky specifically to visit the Creation Museum. Corner House was a perfect location for this but it was also near to the interstate so we could get to Ark Encounter easily. Both destinations were superb and needed more than a day.
The closeness to Cincinnati meant we could get tickets to a Reds game and wandering round after it gave us many more ideas for things to do in the city.
Petersburg was a small town but pretty. We attended church there (with 2 to choose from) and used the local store to purchase groceries. We strolled down to the river, seeing fireflies for the first time ever.
We would really recommend Deborah's cottages and her cleaner, Wanda, popped over to check all was OK which was a lovely touch.
Coming over from the UK, this was a perfect, pretty, and very easy, first stop on our holiday.
Many thanks Deborah and Wanda.
This house is 3 blocks from Ohio River access.
The Creation Museum is about 5 miles away, Perfect North Slopes in Indiana about 15 miles away, and downtown Cincinnati about 25 miles away.
