This unit is perfect for a relaxing getaway. Situated on the 10th floor with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. This is a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom unit, which sleeps 6 comfortably with a queen size bed in each bedroom and a queen size sofa bed in the living room.

This condo is fully furnished, it includes a spacious and generously equipped kitchen. All utilities are included in the pricing. An initial cleaning fee is quoted in the price. Additional cleaning services can be purchased directly from our cleaning services (information card in unit). Complimentary WiFi is provided by the Sunglow Resort Condo building, service is usually very good, but availability of signal, strength, or speed is not guaranteed. Outage of service or slow speed should be reported to the Sunglow Resort Condo building front desk, Tropical Suites has no ability to address this service.

This unit is located in the Sunglow Resort Condo building, which is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, next to the Sunglow Fishing Pier and Crabby Joe's Deck & Grill. It is also conveniently located within an hour of area favorites including Orlando’s many attractions, historic St. Augustine, and Cape Canaveral.

We make every effort to accommodate last minute reservations, however, in order to properly accommodate and guarantee a booking, inquiries must be made 48-hours prior to desired arrival date.

If for any reason the unit is not available for a new or pre-existing reservation, we reserve the right to change unit assignment to another unit of comparable size and features on the 1st, 9th, or 10th floor. Refunds or compensation are not automatically given or guaranteed due to assignment change.

My Daytona Beach units were completely renovated in late 2016 and look magnificent. Beautiful Condo

This was my first time booking with VRBO so I was hesitate when looking for a condo. This condo was better than pictured! The room was beautifully decorated and was very very clean. The resort had a family feel and the staff seemed very nice. The unit had the best view of the whole place. It was the 10th floor (top floor) middle condo. It was a wonderful trip all around. The only thing I did not like was that you had to have a key to get in every door at the resort and you only got two keys. That was a little aggravating at times but I understand the reasoning behind that. Overall great place to stay with a family!

Very clean, beautifully furnished and decorated. Cannot really speak for the kitchen accommodations as we were in and out so much we did not do any cooking. Great view over the water. Would definitely book this unit again.

Given the wrong condo unit; Buyer Beware; Did not get what we paid for

We have stayed at this resort building every year for the past decade. Never before have we had so many issues as on this trip. We were checking in late after hours. We were given the wrong lockbox code to get our keys and had to call the emergency number on the building. The resort staff was wonderful, but the management from whom this suite was rented was horrible (although at the time of booking we thought we were renting directly from the owner of the condo because they list a person's name without a designation that he is from a management company that vrbo won't let us name here). We were given the wrong condo unit. We were supposed to have a direct oceanfront on the 10th floor but instead were given a unit on the 9th floor that was NOT direct oceanfront. We were lied to several times by the management as to why this happened, first being told that there was a water issue and no one could occupy the direct oceanfront unit on the 10th floor, then being told that because of the hurricane 2 1/2 months prior, tenants had to be moved around, only to find out that other people were in the condo we paid for. The fact is we rented a particular oceanfront unit and we did not get it, nor did we get any other oceanfront. Then the management company told us we could vacate the resort to get our money back. Really!? We had reserved the oceanfront unit nearly 4 months in advance and now we were supposed to find another unit for a family of 5 overnight? What a joke! We were told by the resort staff that they never had us down for a reservation until Dec. 15, 2016, although we made the reservation on Sept. 8, 2016, and we were also told that our reservation was never for an oceanfront like we paid for! We had to leave several voicemails before getting responses from the management company, and it was always excuse after excuse. They only offered to refund an amount of money that would only bring the cost down to what we could have paid renting from anyone else for a unit that was not directly oceanfront in the first place. The pool was being renovated and was not functioning; no one ever told us that prior to our trip. Management had the nerve to tell us that it wasn't a big deal because we had the ocean. Well, guess what? My kids love the pool! We paid for a pool! I don't appreciate being told that I really don't need the amenities that are advertised. This was a total bait and switch scam! Buyer beware! Do not rent from this management company!

Owner's Response: It is important to us that guests enjoy their stay. Sometimes the unexpected occurs, requiring both parties to work together to find a resolution. We pride ourselves on taking great care of our guests and providing options that go above and beyond when needs arise. Hurricane Matthew hit Florida’s east coast in October 2016, leaving many buildings uninhabitable still in January 2017. The HOA team at Sunglow Resort worked hard to get the premises back up and running quickly. Due to the temporary roof currently in place on the building, some issues (like water intrusion) may occur until the permanent roof replacement is installed. Unexpected water intrusion did require a change of unit assignment in this case, based on arrival and departure schedules of guests and the property’s repair schedule. The new assigned unit was a larger, renovated 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, and had a clear ocean view. After the guest was unresponsive to contact attempts and had not specified strong preference for an oceanfront vs. ocean view in advance, we were unable to address concerns until after check in. Calls with the guest were unproductive as the guest was screaming, using obscene language and resistant to all three alternative options presented in an attempt to resolve her concern. The guest’s demand to stay all 7 nights with a full refund was not a reasonable concession. Though we made multiple generous offers, we were unable to settle on a final agreed upon resolution. The guest was given a 30% discount and a full refund of the deposit. We recommend to all travelers to always contact your host prior to arrival when booking through a site like VRBO to clarify all expectations in advance and to amicably work with your host if concerns arise. Driving is permitted on this section of beach, but noise and traffic is quite minimal.
