The house is beautiful and spotless! We spent a week at this gem and the views and hottub make it a serene getaway! I highly recommend and will return the next time I'm visiting Guerneville!

Hidden gem and perfect getaway.

  • 5 of 5

What can I say about this place. Richard and Bryan have gone above and beyond anyplace we have stayed before. The furnishings are just gorgeous and the yard is amazing. We were greeted by our hosts and treated to a bottle of wine, breakfast treats and the yummiest chocolate banana nut bread we have ever tasted. The beds were so comfortable and the house is so quiet, we slept in every morning. Then we had coffee on the expansive deck which has a comfortable hot tub, which we definitely took advantage of. It was so relaxing to be in the tub and look out over the babbling creek. The kitchen absolutely blew us away with its Viking stove and ample counter space. We just can not say enough about how much we enjoyed ourselves. Although the house is strategically located to be within proximity of many activities, we were so comfortable we hardly left. We can't wait till our next stay. Thank you Bryan and Richard!!!!

Charming Times Three!

  • 5 of 5

Three Times a Charm is charming times three - a tranquil setting, exquisite yet comfortably adorned home, and gracious owners. This is my fourth stay in Richard and Bryan's homes; I qualify them as homes, not houses, because you feel like you are at home (only much nicer)! My sister and I stayed twice at their Side-by-Side - which is absolutely wonderful; and now twice at Three Times a Charm. Three Times a Charm has a large redwood deck which overlooks the creek and redwood forested backdrop of the rear yard. We always intend to spend a day playing tourist, but the house and scenery are so peaceful and relaxing that we never leave the property! You have your choice of a large eat-in kitchen (which can accommodate multiple chefs) and/or a barbeque grill and dining on the deck. Cozy reading spaces, fireside cocktail hour, great outdoor spaces. I like that the front is enclosed by wrought iron fencing and gates. You can see everything around you, but the extra privacy and security makes it an even more comfortable stay. We keep coming back because it is close to our home, but feels a million miles away. We leave there feeling fulfilled, relaxed and indulged. Thank you Richard and Bryan for creating these great retreats!

This house is in a great location. It is peaceful and quiet, which was perfect for my husband and I because we were in town for a Half Ironman. We barbecued every night out on the deck, surrounded by giant trees and beautiful flowers. I woke up refreshed every morning and enjoyed coffee at the breakfest nook, listening to the birds and soaking up the sun beaming through the window. My husband and I love exploring new places to eat and found some great restaurants around the area. I love riding my bike and was able to find many narrow, winding roads with lots of climbing. The Russian River is close and if you get there in the morning its breathtakingly beautiful. The river is safe to swim in and pretty warm. A lot of people kayak around the river. There is really so much to do. Richard and Bryan truly made this a lovely experience. We will be back next year for sure.

Absolutely Pefect!

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Richard and Bryan. After giving us a tour of the house, which was absolutely perfect for our party of 4, they gave us the ins and outs on the local restaurants. After we returned from dinner, we played games out on the deck and until about 2 in the morning. It was perfect! Slept like a rock on the extremely cozy beds. Coffee out on the deck in the morning couldn't have been more pleasant. Just sitting there in the morning sun listening to the birds, staring at the trees, watching the butterflies. Other than the sound of the birds, it is dead silent around there, which makes for a very relaxing getaway. One of the best parts about the place is that it's just a short drive to the best wineries Sonoma has to offer, as well as the coast, which we did for dinner the second night. The local restaurants are equally as amazing. We've been staying in Healdsburg, Napa, and Sonoma for years. Not anymore!

We've already started planning our next trip there. We've decided our kayaks will be with us for paddling around the Russian. Thanks guys for providing an amazing place.

What a delight

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I came up to Guerneville for a wedding and were absolutely stunned by Three Times a Charm. We were immediately impressed by the beautiful landscaping and even more so when we walked into the house. A spacious open living area, a giant eat-in kitchen, and a deck that I would kill to have at my house. Our hosts, Richard and Bryan, were so friendly and accommodating. They had special treats waiting for us and just made us feel right at home.

What started out as just a place to stay while we attended the wedding turned into a fabulous get-away. We will definitely be back to enjoy the house on its own. Thank you Richard and Bryan for making our weekend so wonderful.
