Step right into your home away from home. As you enter the front door, you're welcomed by a bright and large open floor plan. Opposite the front door, glass sliders open up to a sparkling blue pool and spa beyond. The over-sized kitchen with an enormous island offers plenty of space for cooking and entertaining. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, including a separate beverage refrigerator for wine, beer, or other drinks.
The living area boasts plenty of comfortable seating, a fireplace, and a 58" plasma flat screen TV that can be viewed easily from the kitchen and dining area. Off to the side of the entry way is an office space with a desk to park your laptop and a bookshelf with many books, in case you forget your own.
The Master Bedroom and Bath are tucked away on the opposite side of the house from the other bedrooms. The Master has a view of downtown San Diego. Although the house has central heating and air conditioning, the Master has its own A/C and heating unit that can be programmed to a temperature separate from the main house for comfortable sleeping year-round.
The other three bedrooms each sleep two people. One has a twin bunk bed and another has a twin trundle bed. The 4th bedroom can be used as an additional living room with its 50" plasma flat screen TV or as a guest room with its comfortable queen sleeper sofa.
Both the kitchen and the 4th bedroom open up to the patio and pool area, which faces east, and is a great place to sit and enjoy the morning sun with your favorite cup of coffee or tea. The pool and spa are heated year round for swimming during any season.
For spectacular views, head up to the rooftop deck any time of day. An over-sized umbrella will keep you comfortable and shaded from the warm California sun in the morning or afternoon. In the evening as the sun sets, enjoy watching the sky change to beautiful oranges and purples. For night owls, watch the Sea World Fireworks nightly in all their splendor during the summer.
For large groups, plenty of parking is available in the driveway or on the street.
The home is a short drive to the beach or bay. Most major attractions, including Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and the Gaslamp Quarter are within a 15 minute drive. If heading to Legoland, hop on the freeway that's right around the corner and the drive is about 30 minutes. San Diego International Airport is also only 15 minutes away.
