Fully furnished, clean, one bedroom daylight basement apartment in a great location! Only 15 minutes from Salt Lake Airport and downtown Salt Lake City, very close easy access to I-215 and I-15 freeways and 30 minutes to 8 major ski resorts. Close to world class shopping at City Creek, 5 Star restaurants, and many other attractions. This in home apartment has a separate, private entrance, 52 " flat screen TV, cable/internet and backyard access with gas BBQ grill.
Wear your white glove in this basement apartment and you'll find zero dust—or reason to complain. Everything is clean, the linens are soft, the kitchen is sufficiently equipped, and the bed is very comfortable. We had business in downtown Salt Lake (Uber took us back and forth... 15 minutes each way and no problems), and always appreciated coming back to Lorraine's place. The neighborhood is fine and largely quiet, and relatively close to a fantastic running path. The WiFi works fine. One hiccup—an inexplicably leaky air mattress, used by my business partner—was quickly replaced. When I return to SLC on business, I'll contact Lorraine. It's a no-brainer of a decision.
Our 19 year-old son was in Utah for a month long internship. Rather than paying for expensive extended stay options, we found Lorraine's VR. This ended up being a perfect and amazing option. Clean, safe, great amenities, etc. Owners took daily and genuine interest in our son and made this an outstanding extended stay!! Highly recommend.
We were in this lovely basement apartment for a week for a late february ski vacation. The central location was reasonably convenient for 30-40 minute commute to either the Park City area or the Cottonwood Canyon areas.
The decor is nicely done, the King bed very comfortable. quality bedding and towels. Great shower with excellent pressure and plenty of hot water.
Big TV screen. Kitchen well stocked with plenty of cooking implements. Very roomy one bedroom apartment.
A little chilly feeling as its a basement apartment, but we were happy to use the throws that are available.
The owners are thoughtful and accommodating.
I would recommend this apartment. My family and I would be happy to stay there again on our next trip to Salt Lake.
The location is in a quite safe neighborhood with quick access to freeway.
The apartment is a basement apartment, its nice, clean, everything looks new, it has a comfortable bed and sofa, good natural lighting.
Property is in a great shape and in a good location. Lorraine is a very good communicator and very accommodative host. We had nice time during our vacation in SLC.

The place shows pride of ownership by how it is decorated and maintained. It's obvious they are offering a place that is based on how they would like a place to be like when they're traveling. We were surprised by how well stocked the kitchen was from some basic spices to gadgets and cookware you would not expect.
Got the time and desire to bake homemade bread, there's a Kitchen Aid mixer for that!
I saw it mentioned that the place does not have AC (we were there in the winter) but we did see a new, still in it's box, AC unit in the walk in storage area presumably to be installed in the spring of 2016 so ask the owners about it.
As for the owners, Doug and Lorraine we'd say they are the type of people you wouldn't mind having as a long term next door neighbors. All things considered we certainly have no reservations on recommending this property as a pleasant and comfortable place to stay. The property is close to large selection of local amenities yet, we found it to be quite with no issue with street noise at all.
