This is a beautiful place, inside and out. It is clean, spacious, well decorated, and comfortable. The views from every window are spectacular. In front is a grassy hill with two small fruit trees. We saw deer, rabbits, and quail gather there every morning. In back are dramatic hills; lush and green. It's also very private there, with only one small home in the distance. I recommend this home highly. The property management company Russian River Getaways is great too. They keep the place well maintained and are very responsive.
Very cute with a beautiful view. Every morning we watched dear play on the hillside. This is a beautifully kept old house in a peaceful location. It has everything you need for a comfortable vacation. Within walking distance is the organic cafe on the water, kayaking, the visitors center. We explored the beaches, the cute little towns of Duncan Mills and Guernville. We went to Fort Ross for their annual Russian harvest festival. There is also golfing nearby. We loved staying there.
Superb amenities, great for pets and humans alike! Beautiful location on the edge of Jenner, walk to forest trails and down to the bay. There was a great little festival called FishStock in Jenner and the music floated up to the house as if we had front row seats.
We ventured down and had some roasted oysters and wine. The house is delightful, both upstairs and down, and thoughtfully appointed. We will certainly come back! The weather was warm in the day and cool at night, perfect for hot tubbing!
This house is absolutely beautiful - decorated with antiques and filled with musical instruments - baby grand, bongos, guitar, tambourine. The location is convenient for both ocean and river activities. The house is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. It is rare to find a rental as beautiful as this. Even better, they allow dogs. We didn't need to use the bottom floor much, as the top floor had everything we needed, including 2 day beds. A quick walk to Jenner, which is tiny, but has a coffee shop, a restaurant, and a place to rent kayaks for the estuary. Rental company is responsive and professional. A wonderful stay.
I grew up hearing about the Russian River from my San Francisco-born grandmother. Finally, years later, I was able to see for myself how wonderful the area is. The Artist View was a perfect place for this artist to stay in any location, but extra special being in Jenner. The cabin was squeaky clean and smelled good. (I'm freakish about bad smells) The ambience was excellent. I loved sketching on the window seats (more like beds) as I enjoyed the awesome views. The deer right outside our kitchen window was a delight to witness. I would love to live in this thoughtfully, and in good taste, designed home.
