This is a lakefront log cabin where you can relax and relax and relax.
It's quiet community with great swimming, boating, and fishing.
Go to the nearby beaches and come home to watch the spectacular sunset from your own dock on the lake.
Spring time is also very beautiful- April and May and early June are wonderful months in Rhode Island, with flowers and trees in bloom. Enjoy the quiet before the summer months.
In the fall the foliage is great. The cabin is ideal for a family getaway. Take walks along the quiet lake roads or the local beaches. Curl up with a book,be lazy, enjoy a tranquil time away from your normal hectic pace.
The house is a white cedar log cabin with three bedrooms (plus additional sleeping loft with 2 full length twin beds) and two full baths. There are Incredible lake views from most rooms which also have cathedral log ceilings.
Spectacular sunsets from both of the slate patios.
The four-season lakefront family room has a cathedral log ceiling and 8 large windows looking out to the lake.
The lower patio has an outdoor fireplace, picnic table and gas grill. There are no jet skis or loud motor boats (under ten hp boat engines only- and usually there are just the bass fishermen with their quiet, electric motors).
Famous location for bass fishing (either from your own dock or on the lake) - boats: rowboat, small sailboat, 2 canoes, 6 kayaks (1 double)- USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Why drive all the way to Maine or the Jersey Shore to get away from everyday life when you can relax in an authentic log cabin on Indian Lake in half the travel time.
Minutes to Rhode Island beaches, 15 minutes to Amtrak Kingston station, 20-25 minutes to downtown Newport. Travel from New York City is approximately three hours; from Boston, one and a half hours and Providence, 40 minutes by car or train.
Must see to appreciate the tranquil, panoramic views.
NOT HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE.
This was our second summer on Indian Lake. The cabin is very comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need for your stay. Wifi and cable are available, and living room and porch are very large for family gatherings and "game nights". The lawn is beautiful with 6 adirondack chairs, a large dock and kayaks, canoes and floats, as well as an outdoor fireplace, grill and picnic table. Shady trees help keep the cabin cool and provide relief from the sun, if needed. You are also close to Newport and several beaches, should you ever want to leave this great cabin! We were all adults, but it is very well suited for family and young children, too.
This cabin has an excellent location on a clean, quiet and beautiful lake!
The water views from almost all the windows are nothing short of spectacular.
The cabin itself has everything you might need and the rooms are comfortably large enough for 2 couples.
The trees around the cabin provide shade on the patio and lawn, and the birds are very entertaining as well !
We all just relaxed, and relaxed more!
There is also lots of "play value" available with kayaks, canoes and fun stuff like tubes for just floating around.
We will be back next year,
Thanks Pam & Val~!~!~
