House was lovely, with stunning views. A great holiday was had by all from 4 year to 74 year old.
Dalmore House is a lovely apartment which overlooks Elie harbour - my family enjoyed two weeks of relaxing and exploring the area. I spent many a happy hour sat on the terrace, watching the scene on the beach, writing my book, drinking coffee - does it get any better? The apartment is well appointed and Kate and her team looked after us really well. There is no doubt we'll be back.
We have just returned from a week in the East Neuk. We have been coming to Elie for more than a decade, but this was our first time in Dalmore.
The house is beautiful, and the fresh flowers waiting for us made a lovely welcome.
The views of the sea and beach are magnificent- when the tide was in I felt I was part of the sea.
Dalmore is very close to the Ship Inn and to Water Sports. Elie being small, everything is handy !
I look forward to a return visit to Dalmore hopefully in the near future.
We absolutely love Elie and particularly Dalmore. I have almost lost count of the number of times we have been back which speaks volumes in itself! Dalmore house is beautiful. We can sit and look at the view for hours on end. Even if the weather is not good (which sometimes happens in Scotland!) it is a very relaxing place to be. There is so much to do in the East Neuk, a great pub practicually on your doorstep, lovely beaches to explore and great local shops to stock up for your stay. Already booked for next year - can't wait!
We stayed at the Dalmore in late June 2016. It was one of the most enjoyable holidays we have ever had. The house is very comfortable with wonderful views across Elie Harbour.
The rooms have been furnished to a high standard and everything that you might possibly need was provided by the owner. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy. You can enjoy sitting in the conservatory and see the sunset go down across the beach.
We were very lucky with the weather which enable us to try out the costal walks which start right outside your door. The house is close to a number of beautiful Scottish villages and the town of St Andrews. There is a pub/restaurant within 2 minutes’ walk which serves excellent food.
Overall, the house is one of the best we have ever stayed in across the UK and we have a tried a number over the last 15 years. Kate, Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be booking again.
