Private villa in own grounds with 2 lounges, 2 sitting rooms, 2 kitchens

Buena Vista. You rent the whole villa. This villa has been completely renovated. It sits on a hill affording wonderful sea views, overlooking Portixcholl Island, & on a clear day you can see Ibiza.

It has its own gated car port leading to the terrace & villa. There is a kidney shaped swimming pool, outside shower, BBQ, table, chairs and sun beds.You will rent the whole villa .It consists of 2 separate apartments, but there are internal stairs also should you want the convenience of both upstairs and downstairs (These stairs can be closed off by a door should you want the villa to be 2 separately contained apartments, as there is a separate external access to each of the apartments)

Upstairs consists of 2 bedrooms both with king size beds, One bedroom is extremely spacious and can additionally accomodate a cot. There are doors leading to the pool terrace from this bedroom.

There is a bathroom with bathtub, sink, toilet and bidet. Also there is a separate shower room consisting of a large walk in shower, sink, toilet and bidet.(ensuite)

The large sitting room, dining room and kitchen are semi open plan offering fantastic sea views. There is an arch leading from the sitting room to the kitchen on the right and another arch leading to the dining room on the left..

The kitchen has the “wow factor”. It is very large and consists of fitted units incorporating built in refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher. The Oven is 900 mm wide with an electric hob and extractor fan above There is a central island with 4 breakfast stools. From the kitchen there is a small “Juliet” balcony.

There are sliding doors leading from the kitchen and from the sitting room leading to a large balcony again giving wonderful sea views.

The large “L” shaped sofa is in the sitting room and there is a 42 inch television on the wall.

The downstairs apartment which sleeps 4 is approached from stairs, leading from the dining room. (It also has its own front door) It has 2 bedrooms

(one double bed , and the other twin beds) 2 shower rooms, open plan kitchen with arch to the sitting room, separate dining area looking on to the sea. This kitchen has a dishwasher, cooker, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. There is a washing machine in a separate area.

Again there are fantastic sea views from this apartment.

The property is approached by a gated car port. Steps lead to the upstairs apartment where there is a swimming pool, (kidney shaped), a large terrace with excellent sea views, outside shower, BBQ, a concrete table and benches and another table and chairs, and sun beds.

Nearest Beach . Ambola Beach for the naturist, Granadella for the divers and Barraca

The Popular Arenal Beach with its many shops and restaurants is approx. 5 kms away.

Nearest Airport : Alicante at approx. 90 Kilometres, Valencia approx. 100 kilometres

Nearest Ferry : Denia at 20 Kilometres

The views are fantastic. There is a sea view from most rooms. It has 2 separate apartments each with their own facilities which makes it ideal for 2 families, or 2 generations to rent, where they can spend a holiday together but have their own space. However there are internal stairs should you wish to use the entire villa together. (They can be closed off)

The Perfect Family Holiday

My wife Angela and I decided to treat our three girls, their husbands/partners and two grandchildren to a "Family" holiday and selected the villa from Pat and Rogers’s brochure.

Angela, I and one of my daughters left Gatwick on a bleak and cold day and arrived to a slightly warmer welcome. The hire car was collected without any delay and with the aid of Sat Nav we had an uneventful drive to Javea.

Arriving late afternoon we soon settled in to the top apartment and made ourselves at home. It was cool enough to warrant using the central heating, which was a most welcome facility.

The second string of the brood and hangers on followed on over the next couple of days and by Wednesday had a full contingency. My eldest daughter, husband and two grandchildren occupied the newly refurbished lower apartment. This was self contained and allowed the family some privacy and provided a separate quite area when the children went to bed or wanted to watch tv on their own (DVD's available).

The facilities within the villa were excellent, the swimming pool looked great (although a bit cold - I went in for a bet) and the views over the sea - uninterrupted and beautiful.

The whole of the two weeks were spent on the beach in Javea and surrounding bays or driving to see the sites and places recommended by Pat and Roger. We didn't have a dull moment.

The only rest I got was when the grandchildren and son-in-law buried me on the beach - it was nice to lie still for a few minutes and fortunately, I survived :-) Perhaps it was the prospect of not having someone to pay that modified their enthusiasm?

Eating out was an enjoyable adventure and was extremely good value. If one is looking for exceptional value then look no further than "Scallops" on the sea front to the south end of Javea Bay – unbelievable fantastic value.

The only criticism we could possibly make was that the brochure did not do justice to a holiday destination that was absolutely perfect for Angela, myself and our "Brood".

Location, location, location

The title sums up the very best aspect of this villa, prime location with beautiful sea views. it is well described in the owners literature. the split level design works well to maxmize the view, as does the glazed sitting/dining area off to the side. the bedrooms & bathrooms are a little dark for us, but represent a more typically Spanish style. the kitchen is adequate but a little on the small side. The elevated pool area makes the most of its position and garden setting, with a variety of flowering plants & shrubs, and plenty of room for sunbathing, while remaining reasonably private. the overall layout is compact for the size of property witha very useful, big carport close to the main entrance. The immediate area around the villa is quiet, but there are several bars & restaurants & a well stocked supermarket close by. The Arenal part of Javea with its beach,seafront restaurants, shops & supermarkets is an easy 10 minute drive away but there are various beaches,coves, a small nature reserve etc right on the doorstep. Check out the "Miradors de Xabia", viewpoints of Javea, at various points around the headland for additional spectacular views & great photos. Summary: a good quality villa, in a great location either to crash out or use as a base for exploring further afield. Car essential to make the most of your holiday. Enjoy!

villa splendide

absolument enchantés de notre séjour! la villa est magnifique, avec une vue à 180 ° sur la mer à couper le souffle. Les pièces sont spacieuses, la cuisine moderne et bien équipée. Le fait d'avoir deux appartements indépendants est très pratique, nos jeunes adolescents ont ainsi pu vivre leur vie de leur côté.

C'est avec plaisir que nous relouerons cette maison, d'autant plus que les propriétaires (anglais) sont charmants.

Mention spéciale à nos petits déjeuners sur la terrasse face à la vue mer.

Javea (Xabia) lies between Capes San Antonio and La Nao. The World Health Organisation once selected it as having a near perfect climate for longevity. It is split into three main areas: The Arenal beach with many bars, shops and restaurants; the Port which is a traditional fishing port with a marina, and the historic Old Town which is relatively unspoilt. There are 3 closer beaches, Ambolo (for naturists) Granadella and La Barraca . Javea also has its own Golf course and Tennis courts. The fiestas start in June & continue throughout the summer months. Valencia is to the north with its science park & Lladro factory, Benidorm is to the south with its theme parks.
