This charming, Sea Turtle and Lobster themed cottages are located in a quiet,
quaint, residential, beach community. It makes a great get-away for
fun and relaxation. This cottage is located just three houses from the
clean blue waters of the Gulf and its uncrowded, clean, white, sandy
beach. Its evenings afford you the ever changing and most
breathtaking sunsets. When you vacation on Sunset Beach, you will
be "LIVING ON ISLAND TIME."
The 500 square foot cottage has been completely renovated and updated
with a new kitchen, central air and heat, ceramic tile floors, updated bathroom, comfortable furnishings, and much more. Sea Turtle/Lobster themes have been instilled throughout.
The large bedroom has a king-size bed and glass doors to its private
deck. There is a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room to
accommodate two more guests. Dining for four in the dining area or
under the stars on the private decks.
Local dining, dancing, and entertainment are just steps away. Or
maybe you'll enjoy riding the local trolley from St. Pete Beach to
Clearwater Beach, or perhaps visit the downtown waterfront. It is
just 30 minutes to TampaÂ’s Busch Gardens, Historic Ybor City,
Channelside, and Hyde Park. Just one and a half hours to Disney
World, Sea World, and Universal Studios.
For the most we enjoyed our vacation at the Tropical Fish and Parrot cottage. The cottage is cute and comfortable. We did have some problems with some noisy neighbours. No sleep for a couple of nights (loud music and nasty language), not what I was looking for in a holiday. Hopefully it was just our luck to be stuck with the rude rental neighbours. The cottage is perfect for a couple or a couple with small children. It is only a one bedroom cottage, can sleep six, but the only bathroom can be reached by walking through the bedroom. The cottage is about a block away from the beach. The beach is awesome, powder white sand and clear warm water. We spent alot of time on the beach, but we did make it to Orlando, one and a half hours away. If you do not feel like hauling all of your beach gear, the beach bar serves food and drinks under beach umbrellas with lounge chairs. The Tiki bar is on your walk to the beach. It has live music and is great for a few coctails after your evening meal. For restraunts we did enjoy Sloppy Joes, Kaptain Kosmakos and Middle ground grill. We did go to a few other at Johns pass but we can not recall the names, all great food. I did not meet the owners in person but I had a number where they could be reached if any problems occured. Would we go again? You bet!!!
Excellent, amazing cottage. Everything was picture perfect. You are close to all the restaurants, beach, shopping, etc but at the cottage you have your own private piece of paradise. Immaculate housekeeping and Brian and Wendell are terrific hosts. They have the Parott Cottage perfect. Loved it and recommend it to all! Close to all of Tampa's major attractions for those who are interested.
