This is a gorgeous, totally renovated large Parisian studio in a 17th century building with massive oak beams, Jerusalem limestone and old oak floors, luxurious fabrics, antique furnishings and all modern amenities. It is in the heart of the ancient Marais, tucked away from the noise of the city on a quiet courtyard. Every attention has been given to charm and comfort.
Conveniently located close to public transportation, in the heart of the Village Saint Paul, and two blocks from the Seine, it is walking distance to almost all major attractions in Paris including the Louvre, Places Des Vosges, Bastille Opera, and Notre Dame.
The apartment is two short flights up from the ground floor (sorry, no elevator).

Jim Braude purchased this apartment in 2002
We stayed for 5 days in this fabulous apartment in the Village of St Paul. The owners have thought of everything. Leave your guidebooks at home--their library is stocked with all the best. The kitchen and laundry are stocked with cleaning agents.A notebook provides instructions on use of appliances, as well as neighborhood information. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was quiet. Mathias was our concierge and was attentive to our requests. His picture is on the speed dial on the phone--couldn't be easier to reach him. Good restaurants, museums and metro are nearby. The only drawback is a two flight walk up with narrowing winding steps. Everything else is really lovely. We hope to return
We had a wonderful time, the concierge Mathias was most helpful, was always available, very impress with the service, the apartment very modern and clean. Very quiet neighborhood Wonderful location. Greatl bistros and restaurants along with grocery stores.. Will be coming back to Paris
We had a great 3 days in this lovely small studio in Paris before we moved to a hotel for a conference. The location is exceptional, right near great shopping, walking distance to key areas (Notre Dame, Le Marais, Place des Vosges etc. The apartment is on the backside of an inside courtyard and is exceptionally quiet.
Marc the concierge is unbelievable and was responsive to all our requests.
They pay attention to clear directions on use of any item in the apartment so you feel comfortable from the start.
Easy walk to St Paul metro stop.
Only caution is that it is up 2 flights of narrow stairs so if you have trouble with stairs, look elsewhere.
We moved to a boutique hotel in Montparnasse and the apartment was infinitely better.
We couldn't have expected more for the apartment. It was nicely modern with rustic touches, had the amenities we needed, and was located within walking distance to many sites. Great neighborhood too.
Jim, Marc, and his team were great to work with a each interaction was positive.
I will certainly work with them again in my future visits to Paris.
Perfection is the least I could say about Jim, his colleagues, and his wonderful apartment. State of the art kitchen and bathroom facilities (imagine, a heated towel rack?!), super plush temperpedic mattress, high speed wifi, gorgeous 17th century french finishings, dark cherry woods, beautiful Parisian renaissance artwork...what more could you want?! Oh, location! This lush apartment is TRULY in the heart of the Marais, nearby exquisite boutique inspired cafes, shops, and bustling art-deco streets. May I additionally add the service included in this wonderful accommodation! Marc (the primary host) constantly checked on my friend and I to make sure all needs were met. For example, the batteries for the air conditioner were dull, 10 minutes later...replaced! The hot water in the shower wasn´t as hot as I liked? No problem! Marc fixed the heater, and go to go in 15 minutes! This apartment was at the level of having a luxury hotel with the privacy of your own space. Jim, Marc, Mathius....I will remember you fondly for all my next trips to Paris, I remain loyal to you!
My husband and I stayed here for three nights last week while visiting Paris and it was OUTSTANDING! The apartment looks exactly like the photos and has the perfect mix of "character" and modern-day amenities. We were coming off two weeks of backpacking and were especially happy to see the lovely washer/drier! The booking process leading up to our visit was very smooth, and then Matthias, our concierge, was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived. He provided a map of recommendations/neighborhood spots that was very helpful, and was always just a phone call away if we needed him. The location of the apartment is excellent, the immediate neighborhood is quiet and charming, but a quick walk Notre Dame, the Bastille, etc. We had excellent weather so we did most of our exploring on foot (Louvre and Musee d'Orsay are a bit farther but a nice walk). We have already recommended this apartment to friends who are planning a Paris visit next year, and we hope to return ourselves sometime soon!
The location is in the charming Village Saint Paul, an intimate part of the historic Marais or third Arrondissement, two blocks from the Seine and the Isle Saint Louis, and within easy walking distance of the Bastille Opera, Place des Vosges, Notre Dame, most major museums and monuments, bars and restaurants, and countless wonderful shops for food, antiques, clothing, and anything else you could imagine.
