Great Family House

Our family of five stayed in this rental for over a month, and we can not say enough good things about this home. The house is comfortable, well-maintained, clean, and the owners were very attentive and quick to answer any questions. The views of the bay were beautiful and both decks were perfect for relaxing outside. There is a lot of privacy at this house, and we really liked that the house was a single story. No steps or stairs made life easy for our 3 little children. We highly recommend staying at this home.

Great SF Bay location!

Tiburon is the best location. It is a private area with a laid back atmosphere and is a very short drive to downtown SF, Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate Park(lots of things to see and do), Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods, Sausalito, and Sonoma(Wine Country). The house has an amazing view of the bay with all the amenities of home and a beautiful garden with different succulents. The weather was perfect..cool summer nights and a slight breeze during the day. Pat was great at offering things to do and restaurants for dining. Will definitely use the rental again when we visit the area. Thanks for a great vacation!

A Wonderful Vacation

Great place to stay! The owners were very friendly and the house had everything you needed. Great layout for adults with teens. Beautiful views -bay and city view from front and nature and deer in the back. Plenty of parking and an easy ferry ride into the city.

I would stay here again!

Beautiful house with gorgeous landscaping - AMAZING views.

I study all the reviews on VRBO when we book so this review is detailed.

We stayed in this house the week after Christmas. The owners had a Christmas tree put up which was really a nice touch. The house sits on a huge piece of land which is really nice and I am assuming very unusual in CA. Very beautiful landscaping -- attention to detail in all the landscaping is really fun to look at. We actually did not use the hot tub or grill in the deck area but it is really pretty. The beds were all comfortable. TONS of storage in the house for clothes, etc. Nice touches with the linens and items provided by the owners. The house was really nice. The owners were very sweet and helpful. Gave us great recommendations and stayed in touch which was really nice. My favorite part was all the windows. LOTS of windows. You even have the most gorgeous views in the master bath windows. The picture window in the living area was gorgeous to look out of every morning and at night. You can watch the boats go by. It is a quiet property. It was chilly for us but the view from the terrace is INCREDIBLE. I can only imagine how great this house would be with the windows open in the summer and the breeze flowing through. It was easy to catch the ferry to San Francisco. It is a short drive in to Tiburon and on to Sausalito. We also drove to Sonoma which was not far either. We ate at several great restaurants. Sam's Anchor in Tiburon, great food & service, Seafood Peddler in Sausalito which was AWESOME service and food, Scomas in Fishermen's Wharf, very famous restaurant - excellent service & food, Siltos in Tiburon was excellent food but not so great service (it was after Christmas, short handed) and we ate at a sushi place in Tiburon that was excellent too. Hope the recommendations help for the next visitor.

The only downside to the house is the heating system. It is not central so it gets hot really fast and cold fast. You just have to adjust it pretty often. No shower heads on the showers.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the generally positive review. Shower heads are water-saver types which deliver a powerful spray while conserving water as a needed measure due to five consecutive prior years of drought in California. Heating system is central forced air (except for two bedrooms which have electric baseboard heating for individual comfort). Owners were asked by traveler’s family members (who had a young baby with them) to reprogram the thermostat for the central forced air furnace to a higher than normal temperature day and night for the baby; however, apparently the thermostat kept getting manually adjusted back and forth to suit individual needs for this group of five adults.

RENTING 4695 Paradise Drive property

This house is absolutely stunning and probably the best property we've ever rented, and as we travel a lot, there's been a lot of places we've stayed in. Very cozy, comfortable and well designed, as soon as we moved in, we felt like it's been our own home for years. Great location (paradise drive is one of the top locations in the whole Bay area), beautiful garden and patios with spectacular views of the south east bay and the Richmond bridge. Not to mention the extra amenities such as the jacuzzi and bbq. The owners are great and friendly people, always willing to help. I wouldn't hesitate a second and rent it again, it's absolutely worth it and you will have a great time.
