Ski Trip to Breck

Beautiful house. Plenty of room for our group of six. The house is a little off the “beaten path”, but that is part of the charm. Owners were very easy to work with.

Peak 7 Log Home

This home is in a beautiful quiet location up Ski Hill Rd. Although you can't walk into town, it is in a great location. It is a short drive up, just past the Peak 8 Adventure area. Part of the road is unpaved, so be prepared for some dust but that kind of adds to the adventure. There are hiking trails close by and you can also ride the gondola up and down the mountain if you choose to do that over driving down to town. The home is very spacious and clean. It is as described and communication with the owners was very easy. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed our stay and hated to leave.

We reside in Wisconsin and made our first trip to Colorado and stayed in Breckenridge in 1990. We absolutely fell in love with the town and purchased a condo shortly thereafter. Our sons who are adults now, attended the Breckenridge Ski School each year during our winter family vacation.

Why they chose this property

We decided to sell our condo and build this log home so we could bring our dogs on vacation with us so it would be a total family vacation. We picked this area in the forest because it is only a one block walk to access hiking/mountain bike trails from our home and is only a 5 minute drive to downhill skiing

What makes this property unique

Our home has a private hot tub which is wonderful after a full day of skiing or cycling. Our home is also pet friendly so families who stay in our home can bring their entire family with them and enjoy the mountains
