I have lived in this area my whole life. My husband and I built this home (our dream house) in 2002 for our own use but do to my husbands illness, we have not been able to enjoy our beautiful home.
We decided to rent our home out as a vacation rental so others could enjoy it, since we can't.
Connie Foley purchased this house in 2002
Beautiful, attention to detail, secluded but within walking distance to town.
Secluded yet close to town center. High end finishings.
Perfect property for a small, intimate wedding venue!
My wife and two 7 year old daughters along with another couple and their young child stayed here for 5 days in July. Beautiful home, driveway is right on NYS Route 28 but driveway is pretty long and you feel like you're deep in the woods. Home is pretty new, large and very clean. Beautiful back stone patio with table and chairs with stairs leading down to the dock and water. Small sandy beach and fire pit. I ordered a chord of wood ahead of time as I like big fires every night. Connie didn't think I could burn through it in 5 days but I pretty much did. Connie lives in the bottom half of the house and came out and enjoyed some wine and the fire with us on our first night. She's really nice and helpful with questions or whatever. Very short walk to the Enchanted Forest and downtown Old Forge. We will definitely be back.
Connie OS amazing and her hospitality is seçond to none! We selected Foley's Ledgerock because our daughter desire a small intimate ADK wedding for 25-30. The Atrium was our "rain date" plan, but God blessed us with an outdoor wedding overlooking the lake. We rented the entire property while the groom's family rented a few others in close proximity. Connie's contacts on Old Forge run deep, from the Florist to the chairs and tables and the local salon for setting my wife and daughters hair - flawless..great memories...money well spent, with the added and unexpected bonus of an impromptu small boat parade welcoming the wedding party and guests from the waterside! This is a top notch property that provides a perfect balance between high end living and the ADK life!
The home is lovely. Well kept and beautifully decorated. Better than staying at a hotel. We enjoyed our stay in Old Forge and will definitely be staying at this place in the near future for our next summer & winter getaways. Thanks Connie for your hospitality!
Our stay was over-the-top delightful! The house is phenomenal with an exquisite view and gorgeous interior decorations. The atrium is so welcoming as you come into the house. The kitchen is well stocked and totally functional. We had a great time on the dock every morning practicing yoga, watching the ducks and loons skim the water and even saw a few deer. We went swimming, canoeing and kayaking and relaxed. We can not wait to come back! Thank you, Connie!
This home is not the typical Adirondack getaway. Very upscale accommodations.... the feel of the French Riviera.... On the channel from Old Forge pond to First Lake... Short walk to town, great restaurants, the Water Safari and VIEW.
This is an amazing house. You feel at home as soon as you step in. Every thing is top shelf, the views are beautiful, deer, loons, waterfowl are abundant.
The house is spacious and nicely appointed. Kayaking and swimming from the front yard.
Location is perfect. So close to town, but you'd never know it from there.
Water park is 1/4 mile, all the great restaurants, shops, etc are within walking distance.
Would recommend this place to anyone that would like a great stay in a great town.
Connie is very nice to deal with !
