High ceilings, crown molding, travertine tile, plush area rugs, original artwork, imported Italian leather custom sofas and high end furnishings help make this vacation home extra special. Four spacious bedrooms, en-suite baths, walk-in closets, high ceilings, crown moldings and ceiling fans give an open tropical feel. Two king bedrooms with stunning water views and direct poolside access starts the day off right. One queen and one double twin with a distant water view gives everyone room to spread out. All beds are platform beds with new gel memory foam mattresses. Each bedroom has a remote controlled flat screen TV. The living room has a 65" smart TV with surround sound and inside/outside music, all operated by a high quality universal remote control. WIFI extends to the patio as well. The kitchen has custom cabinetry, convection double ovens, five burner electric stove top, dishwasher, microwave and is fully outfitted for those who like to cook and bake including high quality cookware. Two stainless steel refrigerators each with an ice maker, insures you have plenty of cold storage and ice. Matching large capacity washer and dryer in laundry room with pocket door allows for laundry to be done any time, without excess noise. Top rated reverse osmosis water filtration system provides excellent tasting and safe drinking water. The heated saltwater infinity edge pool blending with the lake beyond offers an unforgettable view from inside or out. The patio and pool area are private with only distant viewing by others, allowing for secure sunbathing. The pool area has an outdoor shower. Remote control sun shades can be used as desired. The retractable, remote control screens can be lowered and the glass panels pushed back to open the entire rear of the home to the outdoors and increase the living space. Salt water fishing is easy day or night from the lighted dock. The large dock and 16,000 lb. boat lift are less than four years old. The boat lift is available upon request (additional security deposit required). Fantastic kayaking, bicycling, walking and jogging area for those enthusiasts. Kayaks and bicycles available. Sunrise and sunset are both spectacular from this property. Shopping, dining, golf and tennis are minutes away. Four golf courses (three to fifteen minutes away) to choose from. Free tennis and pickle ball at Joe Stonis Park, just a short (5 minutes) drive. Pristine beaches are numerous. If you desire, you can visit a new one each day and collect an array of shells. Take the water taxi or ferry to barrier islands from Pine Island and visit secluded beaches only accessible by boat. Dolphins frequently swim right by the house and you just might spot a Bald Eagle, stingray, sea turtle or group of manatees. This home invites you to relax in style. Why Margaret P chose Burnt Store

My husband and I were looking for a vacation home and place to retire to when the time came. We looked at many properties but as soon as we walked into this house, we knew we wanted to buy it. The VIEW!!! No other house came close. No matter where you are on the property, water is visible. We liked the privacy. Many houses in Cape Coral have narrow canals with the surrounding neighbors able to see and hear everything their neighbors do. We like to relax with family and friends enjoying our time without feeling like we are on display. Direct, quick access to the gulf was another reason. We can reach many areas quickly by boat that are lengthy or restricted otherwise. Having driven or commuted everywhere we go, this location is appealing to us. From this house we can access all directions to find interesting things to do.

What makes this house unique

This house is on a quiet cul-de-sac with an open and modern yet comfortable feel. The patio area is enjoyable with seating for groups, grilling out or alone reading a good book. The sunny, heated saltwater infinity edge pool is enjoyable day or night with LED underwater lighting. The outdoor screens and sun shades are remote control. The 16,000 lb. boat lift and dock are new. Dolphin watching from the patio or kitchen window is a fun treat. The occasional Bald Eagle soaring over the lake takes your breath away! The location is central to a wide variety of activities and multiple beaches. Unique in that the water view is phenomenal, relaxing and private. This is a direct gulf access/no bridges saltwater lake.

We were very impressed with this home from the moment we arrived. The palms, landscaping, everything was prestigiously cared for. The accent lighting at night in the front of the house was stunning and continued in the backyard along the waterfront and smaller palms along the patio.

The interior is even more amazing. We loved the extremely high ceilings, the kitchen was well-equipped to say the least and the spaciousness throughout the house. The house felt so inviting the very second we opened the front door. Both master bedrooms boast stunning views no matter where you are in the rooms, ie. laying in bed, using the huge walk-in closets, using the toilet (my husband made me add that one), showering and even while soaking in the huge tub. The kitchen was massive with all stainless steel appliances, it even had 2 ovens which is a big plus for get togethers and holidays, the glass stove cooktop had an impressive stainless steel vent that runs all the way up to the 20ft ceiling. It was stocked with every piece of cookware, dish-ware, and appliance imaginable! I never had to make a compromise while cooking just because something I needed wasn’t there. It comes with everything I could possibly of imagined and then some. This was definitly, hands down the most grandiose kitchen I’ve seen. The bedding, furniture, appliances, bath & pool towels, dish-ware, everything was clean, well maintained and felt new. The leather couches in the living room were really comfortable and have adjustable head supports which I thought were great for reading or watching tv. The floor to ceiling sliding glass doors running across the whole back of the house in the living room slide open completely, providing a flawless view and gave the living areas inside a natural open flow to the patio space, Infiniti pool and grilling area in the back yard.

The back patio has 3 awesome powered screens that, with the touch of a button, will come down and go back up effortlessly and enclose a portion of the patio that extends the whole width of the house. My family lived how freely they could still move between both master bedrooms and the living room while enjoying the scenic views from the outdoor furniture and blocking any bugs that might be out. They provide a safe and secure boundary for the little ones making it easier to relax knowing that they were completely safe from falling into the pool or wondering off when an adult wasn’t with them.

This is now our go to spot!

Amazing house

We have just returned from a wonderful stay in this amazing and beautiful house. It really is an extraordinary property, very spacious, great bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, lots of towels provided, a quiet location and beautiful view and outdoor area. If we travel back to SW Florida (live in Denmark), we will definitely check the availability of this home!

Five Star Vacation!

My son and I stayed at this beautiful house while on vacation. We wanted a central location to Sanibel Island, Captiva, and Manasota Key. We love beaches. This was the perfect house with all its amenities. We felt like we were at a five star hotel. The beds were amazing and I slept like a baby the first night without having to "get used to the bed". Each bedroom had its own private bath. Two of the bedrooms have a beautiful view looking right out to the amazing pool and lake! It was absolutely deluxe! We enjoyed and used the salt water infinity pool daily. We would take a long swim in the pool after our adventures at the beaches during the day. We cooked on the gas grill and enjoyed watching as the dolphins appeared each afternoon. We enjoyed shopping in Cape Coral and eating at Ford's Garage. We also chartered a boat to Cayo Costa, a Florida State Park, for a day. I highly recommend that day trip if you like shelling, walking on the beach, and plenty of solitude. One of our favorite places to go turned out to be Manasota Key. The whole beach is lined with piles of shells, We especially liked Stump Pass Beach State Park, where you park for $3 and can walk the beautiful trails to the end of the key.

To sum it up, this was by far the best vacation rental that I have stayed at. It is definitely everything and more than what was in the description. I highly recommend it! We are planning to go back and stay there again next year!

I would have given this place a 5 star rating. It was everything the description said it was, but renter beware, you will NOT get your damage deposit back. We rented in June 2016, took exceptional care of the place, and didn't receive our damage deposit. I decide to check into it in Sept, and find out that there have been claims filed against us for damage that we DID NOT cause. We did a walk through with the property manager before we left and everything "checks out." Now suddenly in September there is damage to a lamp, 3 white area rugs, a wicker chaise, a large planter, a barstool and beach towels missing! If you do rent I would do a VERY detailed video walk through and document EVERY TINY DETAIL with the property manager upon arrival.

Owner's Response: Jules, The insurance company has reported that it took 3 months to get any response from you regarding the damages done by your party. The security deposit was not refunded because you violated our contract. The Rental Agreement you signed limited the guests staying in the home to those on the contract with the maximum occupancy of 8. You knowingly violated the contract by allowing well over the max occupancy to stay in the house after paying a much lower rate for fewer guests. Your party caused extensive damage to the house and property. The Exit Cleaners (who came in the same day) found and reported the damage to us. I personally had to fly down to oversee repairs before the next guests. I made the necessary repairs and have time stamped pictures of the damage. Your response to my sending you a damage bill and informing you that I intended to pursue recompense for your party's actions finally caused you to surface. You intentionally disrespected us and our property.

There is plenty of space to feel at home. The furnishings are comfortable; bedrooms and baths spacious and the kitchen is

Beautiful house, perfect service

A lot of space inside and outside, great pool, large grill, huge kitchen.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, clean and comfy.

We loved the dock for sunbathing!

There are 2 kayaks and 4 bikes on hand.
