Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
We agree this place is very small. You get what you pay for. When we arrived we found that there is no carpet on the floor. There is no tile on the floor. It appeared as though the flooring had been removed. The glue markings from the previous flooring was very visible. Because of this we could feel grit under our feet as soon as we got there. While we understand there is a beach there and the sand is hard to manage, we didn't like having to wipe our feet to remove grit from our feet and the floor that someone else left behind. We requested a broom and we cleaned the floor from the previous guests. It could have been an honest oversight. It wasn't pleasant either way. The best things about this place are that it is gated which makes you feel safe and the beach access was good.
This is the first time we stayed at a condo versus a hotel. It was much more affordable and the public beach was directly across the street! There are several restaurants and shops in walking distance as well and the condo has a great coffee shop and Mexican restaurant in one of it's buildings! It was just a short walk through the property to get to. There were several other shops too like a nail salon, small convenient store, and a wine shop! I enjoyed this location very much! The pool area looked nice, but we did not swim there and parking/check in was as easy as can be! The condo itself is a little outdated but the bathroom is HUGE! The bed wasn't the most comfortable but not too terrible. Cute place especially for how little time you should spend in there!
If you are like us and only are in room to sleep and eat small meals, this is the place. Close to beach, restaurants, Walmart bed comfortable and all utensils and appliances there.. Refridgerator is small but we only did small items for breakfast and lunches ate out for dinner.
We planned a last minute deep sea fishing trip and did not want anything fancy room wise, we knew we would not be spending a lot of time at/in the room. For the purpose of our trip the room was fine and as expected. This is in a great location for the cost.
The property was much smaller than I originally expected, but it was still quite nice. The location was good for a variety of activities in Panama City Beach. The room is definitely not big enough to hold more than two people. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice quiet room for a couple's get away! :)
