St. Charles Streetcar Line Sanctuary

What a perfect location! On the corner of St. Charles and Carrollton. Parking was easy. The street car runs right in front of the house. Within walking distance to delicious food, shopping and entertaining. The apartment was so nice with all the details...Lots of towels and a comfy bed. Tara went out of her way to make us comfortable. We didn't get to use the backyard as it was under construction, but it will be amazing once it is complete! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Every aspect was outstanding. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay even more special. The studio apartment was exquisitely appointed. Big screen TV, fast Wi-Fi, frig, automatic coffee maker, Blue tooth, microwave, great walk-in shower, oh-so-comfortable bed! Everything you need and more. The location is the best in NO. On the trolley line, walking distance of great restaurants, always available parking on St. Charles Ave. If you could make a reservation that fits your schedule, I would look no further.

Great Location!

There was construction going on but the owners treated us great and was a great time. We will stay there again after construction and it will be five stars for sure!

Tara place is great, it's like staying in a five star hotel everthing up to date,the shower is so nice and the shower gel uh uh, fluffy white towels, the bed is great and the sheets is to die for.The pool and the outdoor seating is great. This place is fresh and clean and the Trolley right outside the door.

Tara and her family is so pleasant. We really enjoyed them.

Tara, the homeowner was so welcoming. Tara...your interior design is on point! 😉The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the patio is a nice reprieve from the city. I would definitely book this place again.

Beautiful, convenient, immaculate, well-appointed, private, good host, everything we needed/expected

The description of this property does not exaggerate---our stay was wonderful.

The studio was tastefully decorated with eclectic furniture in whitewashed and charcoal neutrals and highlighted by colorful art depicting local culture, The shower in the beautiful marble bathroom was very large with 2 heads (one rainforest, one elongated with a handheld option). The studio was actually a 2-roomed space because the outdoor patio was an additional private living space---complete with overhead fans and a wall-mounted outdoor TV. Although the saltwater pool is also used by the homeowners, it felt completely private because the homeowners were available if we needed them but we weren't bumping into each other during our stay. Each time, day or night that we used the pool, we were there alone

Our hosts were extremely gracious. They were very responsive to our needs. When we arrived, they were thoughtful to the point of stocking the studio fridge with bottled water, a sample of a couple of local brews, and soda. The studio was also stocked with quality coffee and tea.

The location was convenient for all modes of transportation. If walking, restaurants, bars, and live music are available nearby. If using public transportation, the St. Charles streetcar is available right in front of this property 24/7. If bike riding, nearby avenues have bike lanes plus a bike trail is nearby alongside the River Road. If driving, on-street parking is available and the property is also only 1 block from the River Road for day trips outside of town.

We visit the city every year and plan to stay here again when we return. If we asked, the hosts were very knowledgeable about suggestions for restaurants or other forms of entertainment. The space was glamourous, comfortable, we felt very at home there, and we hated to leave.
