Beautiful area and great hosts!
We traveled down from Northern Minnesota for a wedding weekend. We have a 2 week old baby, along with 2 other crazy kiddos, so this was so much more comfortable than cramming into a hotel room! The space was perfect for our family. We were wishing for better weather so we could have gotten out exploring a little more. It was in the 40s with a whipping wind. The kids did play at a park for a bit in Lanesboro, just a few mins down the road! We hope to come down again sometime for a longer family vacation! My only suggestion would be to have a landline or internet access of some sort in case of emergency. There is no cell service in this area, which was really nice to "unplug", but with my kiddos I did wonder what to do in case of emergency... Thank you so much for your hospitality!!
Nice, quiet place for a weekend getaway
This house was very cared for by the owners....perfect for a long weekend away to bike, hike, laze on the river, shop, etc...
Super cute and well cared for.
This was a very nice, well cared for property a half a block from the Root River trail and right across the corner from the pie shop. It was fabulous. My wife and kids loved it. The place was comfortable and spacious for our four-person family.
I'm inclined to ding it a little bit, because it doesn't have wifi in a town with very poor cell phone reception. But I don't think that's enough of a problem to demote the place a full star and, honestly, we all could use a weekend disconnected from the Internet for once. But keep that in mind if you stay here.
Super Awesome Place! 2nd Time here!
We will be back!
Really cute place!
Great location on the trail. Really clean. Patio and chimnea an added bonus. We loved this place.
The home is very clean and comfortable. This home is near the river and the bike paths.
We really enjoyed our stay for the first time in the area. We will definitely be back and will stay here again. It is very accessible to everything in the area and we could kayak right to town. Great outfitters nearby will shuttle you where you need to go. We used Kenny with River Rats.
