This Spanish style Villa is located near Collioure,set in 4 acres of secluded gardens with a magnificent 10x5m pool where you will enjoy the views. It is perfect in all seasons for small groups or large family sharing with its 6 ensuite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious lounge & indoor dining. French doors open onto sheltered terraces with garden furniture & outdoor barbecue and different dining areas shaded by a canopy of trees. The new petanque strip will provide joyous competitions for all our guests.The villa has its own gated drive with parking & totally private garden, whether playing, sunbathing or relaxing. Collioure&Argeles villages are 2km away, where there are plenty of restaurants & bars. You will find a bakery, shops and restaurants by the beach at Le Racou which is a short walk of 800m away. This self catering accommodation is perfect for a relaxing holiday where the Mediterranean met the Pyrénées surrounded by vineyards and it's ideal for walking, cycling and water sports.

What a wonderful stay!

We had a great short break in La Cote Rouge. The weather was good to us in September and we even managed to get a sun tan. We used the house bikes and went up the local hillside, it was hard work for an unfit one like me but was great fun. There are loads of lovely bars and restaurant in both Collioure and Racou both walkable so plenty of vino can be consumed. The addition of the pool is fab and we very much looki forward to returning soon. The house is roomy and comfortable and the kitchen has everything required to produce great food. Think that's about it - try it for yourself, great for groups or a whole family.

Set in its own substantial grounds, La Cote Rouge lies 4 kms from the historic fishing village of Collioure & a similar distance from Argeles-Sur-Mer, with its marina & safe sandy beaches. The quiet family beach of Le Racou, with its friendly bars & restaurants, is only 800 m away. Easy access to the N114 makes exploring the coast, vineyards or mountains ideal. Collioure, with its charming port, cobbled streets & squares, has been a magnet for artists since Matisse settled there in 1905. Bustling with galleries, bars, restaurants, boutiques, the town always has a lively atmosphere & its twice weekly markets are not to be missed. Argeles plage offers a range of water based activities & Aqualand is a few kms away near St Cyprien golf course.

Food shopping will be an easy & quick affair, very important on a self catering holiday, as the shops are only 5 minutes drive away. The bakery is a quick cycle down the road, ensuring fresh croissants every morning , an important holiday luxury
