There are some upgrades that could be done, but overall I was extremely satisfied. The view was great and location was perfect. Just what I wanted/needed for a week getaway.

The view and location was amazing. Just steps to the beach. We were worried being right above the pool that it would be noisy, that wasn’t the case at all. The downfalls, this condo needs a severe deep cleaning, cleaning the walls, repainting, new linens in the bunk room especially. Upon arrival the first bedroom you see is the bunk room which is yellow, it shows everything. There was dust caked along the walls and the ceiling fan. I’m pretty sure the linens weren’t replaced in there as there were stickers all over the sheets, the top sheet was shoved under the pillow. There was a lighter laying on the bed, the TV also didn’t work. The dishwasher had dishes in it upon arrival, everything felt dirty, the kitchen sink is missing the filter on the end, so water sprays everywhere..the bathtubs were stained so they constantly looked dirty. The air vent in the living was covered in black dust. For the amount of money we paid to stay here it was way below the expectations of what it should be in terms of cleanliness. I hope this issues get taken care of, this could be a beauty property if it’s taken care of correctly.

The condo was very dirty and dusty. I sent pictures to VBRO and Destin Rentals and the owner but have not head anything. The kids room had black dust all over the ceiling and walls, all of the register were covered in black dust and the ceiling around those vents as well. The cabinets were dirty and I had to clean out. You could not walk barefoot on the floor because your feet would be black. The stove had a broke burner, the TV in the kids room was broke, the ceiling fan and the light in the main bath are going out. The table lamp did not work. The front door did not close properly, we went to the best one day came back and the door had been standing wide open all day, luckily the neighbors were honest!

I wanted to give this property a five star due to the excellent communication and responsiveness of the owner, but I can’t. The condo was clean, but very dated in decor. The internet was almost non existent. With 4 children this was a constant source of irritation. I know that you don’t go to the beach to spend your time on the Internet, but unfortunately there was only one day of our stay that the beach wasn’t piled with June grass. The other major problem was the refrigerator. The first 3 days of our stay we had to put everything in the freezer due to the refrigerator not cooling properly. To summarize, the condo was clean and in a great location and the communication with the owner was great. With some updating, and issues I mentioned corrected, it would definitely be a 5 star experience.

The condo had an incredible view and we were overall pretty happy with the stay BUT the condo smelled pretty bad (musty/moldy and a little like urine in some areas) and was a little bit shabby. We had to go to Bath & Body Works and load up on the wall plug-ins.

We had been hoping to put our daughters in the bunk room but the top bunk smelled so musty that one of our daughters preferred to sleep on the couch. Not a deal-breaker but definitely disappointing.

Also, if you rent this condo for a larger group like ours (6 people) for a longer period of time (6 days), make sure to bring toilet paper because you are only allotted 2 rolls, one for each bathroom. And don't forget garbage bags or paper towel because you only get 1 of each. We left coffee filters for the next guests otherwise I would have mentioned that people should bring their own.

I would also recommend bringing mattress toppers because the mattresses are pretty old and kind of uncomfortable, you can feel the wires when you lay down.
