Family or serious fisherman lodging and getaway - upscale, safe & comfortable

Newly fully remodeled cottage on 1/4 acre. Fenced in yard. 40" flat screen TV with local channels and large DVD library, pool table, table & yard activities. Family friendly. All new appliances, kitchen, bedding, etc. Family safe for small children without direct water access. Minutes from boat launch, restaurants, bars, grocery store, gas station. 2 new queen beds and queen sleeper sofa with quality mattress. Lots of wildlife in area. Extra folding bed can sleep an extra person in a pinch. Used recently for family reunions, wedding parties and other family oriented gatherings.

Special rates may apply for longer duration stays. We have hosted families that have had family reunions or weddings that have stayed for extended periods of time.

This is also a perfect place to stay if you are relocating to the area but your new place is not ready. No need to unpack part of your belongings or furniture. We are more fully equipped than most timeshares.

We are also developing a new concept for vacationing. We have purchased a new 34' travel trailer with too many features to describe here, located on a quiet private waterfront setting. Can sleep up to 9. If you enjoy a high end camping experience but do not want to take an RV, and like a little more privacy than a conventional RV park offers, this may be perfect for you. Same Delta location, like a private park. More information upcoming.

Felt like home

Wonderful place to rent. You can tell the owners care for their property. They are available if you need them, beds were comfortable, they provide ample entertainment for family time, games, videos etc. I loved staying here. Blessings

Escape in the Delta

We were warmly greeted on our arrival by the owners who were committed to making our stay as pleasant as possible. The house is charming, attractively decorated and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Our five year old grandson loved visiting our “Oakley House” and helped me finish a puzzle generously provided by the owners before he played with the activities found in the pool table room. That room also made a relaxing reading room for me. The bedroom without the window is quiet and dark which is excellent for sleeping. This house has the most ceiling lights ever which means a lot to someone who likes to read in several locations a day. The positive reviews posted can be believed. I would recommend this home for anyone staying in the area. (For guests who usually rely on shampoo, conditioner and bath soap already in the home, bring your own.)

The internet is a great way to find things. However, we are old school and much prefer the personal approach. We would prefer you giving us a call rather than do the online booking. That way we can see that your needs are met if you decide to stay with us.

We moved out to the delta 20 years ago and built our home . We enjoy people and have had many stay with us over the years including caring for our parents. We take great care of our homes and this property Is an extension of our home as it is only a few houses away. As an artist it was a pleasure to decorate this home with a delta theme. It has been a labor of love that we enjoy sharing . It is our hope that no matter what your activities include that you find your experience uplifting and refreshing.

Located in the hub of the California delta with 1,000 miles of waterways that lead up to Sacramento is DELTA ESCAPES. DELTA ESCAPES offers a secure venue to participate in year round world class bass tournaments and other water recreation. With DELTA ESCAPES you are within a quick seven minutes to boat launching. Water craft rentals are also available nearby with which to enjoy the delta .

This fully remodeled hideaway is like a timeshare without the commitment. Just bring your clothes, toys, and food if you like. There are restaurants nearby if you prefer. This lovely home features 2 queen sized bedrooms, one hide a bed with new mattress, 1 bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, dinette, living room, garden/game room, and guest laundry room. Air conditioning and heating are added for comfort. The home has a private yard with gated surrounding for security of boats and gear.
Also provided for your pleasure is a flat screen T V and DVD player. There are inside and outside games available as well as books and 300 DVDS. For convenience hair dryer , iron & ironing board as well as wake up clock alarms for each bedroom have been added. To enhance your outdoor experience a Weber gas BBQ grill is also available along with colorful seating and tables on patio.

What makes this property unique

Delta Escapes offers a fenced in secure area next to home for fishermen's boat and vehicle which is rare for those who want to take advantage of the bass tournaments. We also have a fully fenced back yard that is safe for children. The property is clean, cheery, and serene. We are centrally located between Sacramento and San Francisco with many featured attractions accessible by Bay Area Rapid Transit (Bart). We are about 90 minutes from Sacramento and 90 minutes from San Francisco (depending on traffic).
While we do not pursue long term rentals, we realize some people may need a temporary home while in transition. This will be handled on a case by case basis.
